The co-main event of Dana White’s Contender Series Season 10, Week 4 is a Middleweight fight between Brandon Holmes and Modestino Rodrigues. This is Holmes’ second appearance on DWCS; he first fought Cam Rowston in August 2025. Rodrigues is a supreme knockout artist, as all seven of his MMA victories have come by knockout in the first or second round. With the two combining for 11 career knockouts, this should be an entertaining contest for as long as it lasts.

Modestino Rodrigues Moneyline (+140)
Since coming up short last year, Holmes returns to the show after picking up a first-round knockout over Preston LaGrange in January. Including his amateur career, Holmes is 10-1 with eight knockouts, which is extremely impressive. Rodrigues’ last MMA fight was in June 2025. After that, Rodrigues competed in the K-1 World G1, a one-night kickboxing tournament. Rodrigues went 2-1 in that tournament and now returns to MMA with a UFC contract on his mind.
In this fight, Holmes is the favorite at -166 with Rodrigues being the underdog at +140 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Rodrigues has the physical advantage in this contest: he is taller by two inches (6’3″ vs. 6’1″) and has a longer standing reach (77″ vs. 76″).
This is a close bout between two fighters with knockout power in their hands. But I’m going to favor Rodrigues due to having more experience while being the bigger fighter in this matchup. As we have seen a ton on DWCS, upsets happen often, and Rodrigues could be the latest prospect to fit that trend.
