Check out my best bet below for Bilal Hasan vs. Nilson Rojas at Saturday’s UFC Fight Night.
Bilal Hasan to Win by KO/TKO/DQ (-135)
On August 11, Hasan delivered a highlight knockout against Mridul Saikia on Dana White’s Contender Series, which earned him a UFC contract. Now 18 days later, Hasan is making his official UFC debut. Hasan is a fascinating prospect: 9-0 with eight finishes at just 25 years old. Hasan trains in Kirkland, Washington, at AMC Pankration, home to former UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson. His opponent, Rojas, is another undefeated prospect entering the fight 9-0 with seven knockouts.
In this contest, Hasan is a -800 favorite with Rojas being a +550 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook. The over/under is 1.5 rounds, with the over at -180 and the under at +140. This contest is +165 to go the distance and -220 to end before the scheduled 15-minute fight.
Although both fighters are unbeaten knockout artists, Hasan has the edge in experience, having fought at the Meta Apex in front of fans and the UFC brass. Hasan’s combination of speed, power, and a unique striking arsenal makes him dangerous for anyone he fights. In this contest, Hasan has a seven-inch reach advantage (70″ vs. 63″) and is slightly taller (5’7″ vs. 5’6″). That should allow Hasan to walk Rojas down while unloading a plethora of strikes. Hasan’s last four wins and seven of his previous eight have come by knockout. With that said, I’m taking Hasan to win by KO/TKO/DQ at -135.
