Anthony Wint to Win by KO/TKO/DQ in Round 1 (-175)
Wint, 30, made his professional MMA debut a little over three years ago after his football career ended. He played Linebacker at FIU and then was on the New York Jets in 2018 before spending 2020 with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL. Wint trans at Kill Cliff FC, which has produced many UFC Champions and is led by legendary coach Henri Hooft. This will be Wint’s fourth fight in the previous 14 months. His opponent, Adams, recently got back in the win column against Quentin Campbell in March. Adams spent some time competing in LFA, going 3-1 in the promotion. Also, Adams fought for BKFC in January 2024.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Wint is a massive -1350 favorite with Adams as a +800 underdog. The total is 1.5 rounds, with an under at -375. Wint is -350 to win this fight by knockout and -200 to win in the first round.
Both fighters in this contest are 5’11”, but Wint has a three-inch reach advantage (78″ vs. 75″). Wint has produced three consecutive knockouts, with his previous two coming in the first round. We have seen Wint display one-punch knockout power, and he has had tremendous finishes so far. Because of Wint’s supreme power and fast-paced style, if he pressures Adams, another special knockout is likely.
