WWE Monday Night Raw Full Card and Predictions
World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament First Round Match: Penta vs. Laredo Kid
The WWE announced a few days ago that Roman Reigns will defend the World Heavyweight Championship on the September 14 edition of Monday Night Raw in Mexico City. That will be the first episode of Raw in Mexico City in 15 years. With that being the case, WWE put together a tournament featuring luchadores from Raw, SmackDown, and AAA to crown the No. 1 contender for the world title. At first glance, Penta, Rey Fenix, and Dragon Lee appeared to be the three most likely wrestlers to win this tournament. But currently, Penta is the most popular luchador in WWE, and a match against Reigns would make for the most anticipated contest.
After losing the Intercontinental Championship, Penta needs a victory in singles competition to get back on track. This is Penta’s second match against Laredo Kid, as they first faced in a one-on-one match in May 2024.
Penta vs. Laredo Kid prediction: Penta defeats Laredo Kid.
Tag Team Match: Sol Ruca & TBA vs. Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez
Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez from The Judgment Day have lost two straight tag team matches together. Now they will face Sol Ruca and a partner of her choosing on Raw. Liv Morgan will likely be ringside in this match and will probably help Perez and Rodriguez pick up the victory.
Sol Ruca & TBA vs. Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez prediction: Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez win the match.
Singles Match: Austin Theory vs. Akira Tozawa
Austin Theory is currently one half of the WWE World Tag Team Champions alongside Bron Breakker. But now Theory will take on Akira Tozawa in singles action after the two groups have had an ongoing feud since Maxxine Dupri joined The Vision. Although Theory has lost his last four singles matches, he should be able to dominate Tozawa.
Austin Theory vs. Akira Tozawa prediction: Austin Theory defeats Akira Tozawa.
