Two veterans, Diego Ferreira and Billy Quarantillo, will face off in the co-main event of tonight’s UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Meta Apex. Both fighters in this matchup enter this bout on a two-fight losing streak. The Main Card for this event begins at 8:00 p.m. ET on Paramount+ and is being headlined by Mateusz Gamrot vs. Quillan Salkilld.

Ferreira lost his last two fights in 2025 against Alexander Hernandez and Grant Dawson. His last win came against Mateusz Rębecki in May 2024. Ferreira, 41, has been in the UFC since 2014 and is 10-7 in the promotion. Quarantillo is 3-5 in his previous eight contests, and this is his first fight since December 2014.
In this contest, Ferreira is a -180 favorite with Quarantillo being the underdog at +150 on DraftKings Sportsbook. This fight is -275 to go the distance and +200 to last the scheduled 15 minutes. The over/under is currently 2.5 rounds, with the under being -175 and the over being +135.
Even though Quarantillo is the underdog in this fight, I still give him the edge because his all-around skill set is better than Ferreira’s. That is because Quarantillo averages 7.44 significant strikes per minute, which is 2.74 more than Ferreira. Also, Quarantillo lands strikes at a 15 percent higher rate (54% vs. 49%). But even though the statistics favor Quarantillo, he could have ring rust after being away for over a year. Two of Quarantillo’s and Ferreira’s last three fights have gone over 2.5 rounds. That makes the over at is +135 my favorite play in this fight, as both fighters are struggling, which could make it a longer contest.
