Following the UFC’s debut in Serbia, the promotion is back in Las Vegas, Nevada for a Fight Night! This week’s UFC Fight Night is headlined by a high-stakes Lightweight matchup between No. 8 Mateusz Gamrot vs. No. 12 Quillan Salkilld. The Main Card for this event begins at 8:00 p.m. ET on Paramount+.

Best Bets for UFC Fight Night: Gamrot vs. Salkilld
- Quillan Salkilld Moneyline (-142): In an elite Lightweight division, Quillan Salkilld has a golden opportunity against Mateusz Gamrot to join that elite group at 155 pounds with a victory. Although Gamrot is Salkilld’s toughest opponent to date, it would be surprising if he could handle his pace and power.
- Diego Ferreira vs. Billy Quarantillo: Over 2.5 Rounds (+135): With two veterans who are on a two-fight losing streak, it is likely that this fight goes at least 10 minutes.
- Yadier del Valle to Win by Submission or Decision (+100): When Yadier del Valle is aggressive, he has elite potential and should be able to find success against Darren Elkins, who is retiring. Eight of del Valle’s last nine wins have come by submission or decision.
UFC Fight Night: Gamrot vs. Salkilld Best Bets Breakdown
Quillan Salkilld Moneyline (-142)
Quillan Salkilld’s ascent in the UFC’s Lightweight division continues with a matchup against No. 8 Mateusz Gamrot. Salkilld went from good young prospect to potential contender when he scored a first-round knockout over tough veteran Beneil Dariush in May. Gamrot, 35, is nine years older than Salkilld and has a wealth of UFC experience. At UFC 327 in April, Gamrot picked up a second-round submission victory against Esteban Ribovics. Gamrot is 5-2 in his previous seven contests with losses to Dan Hooker and former champion Charles Oliveira.
On paper, Salkilld has the advantage as he is taller (6’0″ vs. 5’10”) with a five-inch edge in standing reach (75″ vs. 70″). Although Salkilld has a much smaller sample size in the UFC than Gamrot, his all-around skill set is on a different level. Salkilld averages more significant strikes per minute (5.01 vs. 3.21), while landing more takedowns per 15 minutes (7.25 vs. 5.22).
If Salkilld continues to be aggressive while keeping Gamrot at range, another big performance should be in his future. Salkilld is the bigger fighter in this matchup and is the better athlete, which should allow him to find plenty of success against Gamrot. In this fight, I’m backing the rising Aussie star, Quillan Salkilld, who is a -142 favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Diego Ferreira vs. Billy Quarantillo: Over 2.5 Rounds (+135)
12-year UFC veteran Diego Ferreira is back for his 18th fight in the UFC to take on Billy Quarantillo in the co-main event of Saturday’s UFC Fight Night. Ferreira, 42, is 19-7 with 12 finishes and enters this bout on a two-fight losing streak. This is Ferreira’s first fight since he suffered a loss to Alexander Hernandez in September 2025. After 20 months, Quarantillo will make his return to the Octagon. Quarantillo last fought in 2024, where he lost two fights to Youssef Zalal and Cub Swanson.
Quarantillo is one inch taller (5’10” vs. 5’9″), but Ferreira has a four-inch reach advantage (74″ vs. 70″) in this contest. Although Quarantillo lands more significant strikes per minute (7.44 vs. 4.70), Ferreira is better defensively (55% vs. 42%).
With two older fighters who haven’t been the most active, both could be passive in the first two rounds of this contest. Quarantillo has only scored one finish in the first two rounds in the last four years, while Ferreira’s last early finish came over two years ago. Two of Quarantillo’s last three fights and seven of his last 10 have gone over 2.5 rounds. Also, two of Ferreira’s previous three fights have lasted at least three rounds. With that said, my favorite play in this fight is over 2.5 rounds, which is +135.
Yadier del Valle to Win by Submission or Decision (+100)
At Saturday’s UFC Fight Night, one of the longest-tenured fighters, Darren Elkins, will have his final MMA fight. Elkins has been in the UFC since 2010 and has gone 19-11 in 30 fights in the promotion. In Elkins’ last fight, he suffered a first-round knockout loss to Julian Erosa at UFC 314 in April 2025. Now Elkins will face Yadier del Valle in his last UFC contest. In three UFC fights, del Valle has gone 2-1 and is looking to get back on track after losing his first fight to Jordan Leavitt in February.
Striking-wise, del Valle has the clear advantage as he averages more significant strikes per minute (4.05 vs. 3.40), while having a better striking accuracy (60% vs. 38%). Elkins lands 1.64 more takedowns per 15 minutes but could struggle in that area as del Valle is also skilled on the ground.
Del Valle’s last six victories have come by submission or decision. Also, eight of del Valle’s previous nine wins have been by submission or decision. I’m taking del Valle to win by submission or decision, which is +105 on DraftKings Sportsbook. If del Valle is the more active fighter, he should be able to wear Elkins down, as he likely will not be able to keep up with him.
