At tonight’s UFC Fight Night, a Featherweight bout between Darren Elkins and Yadier del Valle is taking place on the Main Card. Elkins, 42, is a 16-year UFC veteran, while del Valle is 2-1 in the promotion with a 10-1 record overall. The Main Card for this event begins at 8:00 p.m. ET, airing on Paramount+.

Yadier Del Valle to Win by Submission or Decision (+100)
This is Elkins’ 31st fight in the UFC, as he is 19-11 in the promotion. Elkins last fought in April 2025 at UFC 314, where he suffered a first-round knockout loss to Julian Erosa. He hasn’t been very active recently, as this is his third fight since October 2024. Elkins’ last win in the UFC came 22 months ago against Daniel Pineda.
In February, del Valle suffered his first career loss to Jordan Leavitt. Before that, del Valle began his MMA career 10-0 with six finishes. He started his UFC career 2-0 with back-to-back first-round submissions. On paper, Elkins has the slight edge as he is taller (5’10” vs. 5’9″) with the reach advantage (71″ vs. 69″).
On DraftKings Sportsbook, del Valle is a massive -850 favorite with Elkins being the underdog at +575. This fight is -340 not to go the distance and +240 to last the full scheduled 15 minutes. The over/under is 2.5 rounds with the under being -230. Del Valle’s previous six victories and eight of his last nine wins have come by submission or decision. Eight of his last nine wins have come by submission or decision. With that said, I’m taking del Valle to win by submission or decision at +100.
