Walker is on quite the run, as he has won four straight fights by first-round submission, with all of them coming in the last 17 months. Peterson, who is 11-4 with eight finishes, recently got back in the win column against Guilherme Pat in April.

Valter Walker to Win by KO/TKO/DQ or Submission (-115)
Since entering the UFC in February 2024, Petersen has gone 3-3 in his six fights in the promotion. Before Petersen fought in the UFC, he won eight fights by finish but has yet to score a win by submission or knockout in the UFC. Walker has a record of 15-1 with 11 finishes and is coming off a win against Louie Sutherland in October 2025.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Walker is the favorite at -166 with Petersen being a +140 underdog. This fight’s over/under is set at 1.5 rounds, with the over being -160 and the under is +124. Walker has a big physical advantage in this matchup, as he is five inches taller (6’6″ vs. 6’1″) with a four-inch edge in standing reach (78″ vs. 74″).
In the UFC, Walker has a 69 percent takedown accuracy while landing 5.74 takedowns per 15 minutes. Walker has been very aggressive recently, which could cause problems for Peterson, who has been passive lately. If Walker comes out with a fast pace while hunting for a finish, he will likely get one. You can get Walker at -115 to win this fight by knockout or submission.
