Two undefeated Lightweight prospects, Magomed Zaynukov and Damian Rzepecki, are making their debut on the Main Card of today’s UFC Fight Night. Rzepecki enters this fight with a 10-0 record and nine finishes, while Zaynukov is 8-0 with five knockouts. The Main Card begins on Paramount+ at 12:00 p.m. ET.

Magomed Zaynukov to Win by Decision (+140)
Zaynukov is friends and training partners with the UFC Welterweight Champion Islam Makhachev. But unlike Makhachev and the majority of their team, Zaynukov’s best skill is his striking. He has five knockouts and recorded 235 significant strikes in his last fight, which took place on Dana White’s Contender Series. In the MMA world, Zaynukov is also known as “John Pork” and “Chanco”.
Rzepecki is coming off the first decision win of his career in April. Before that, he won his first nine MMA fights by knockout or submission. Although Rzepecki is seven years younger, he has two more fights in his career than Zaynukov does. Both fighters in this contest are 5’10”, while Rzepecki has a three-inch reach advantage (71″ vs. 68″).
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Zaynukov is a -298 favorite with Rzepecki being the underdog at +240. Zaynukov is also +140 to win by decision and +185 to score a knockout. This fight has an over/under of 1.5 rounds, with the over being -238 and the under being +180.
Although Zaynukov hasn’t fought in nine months and doesn’t have the most experience for someone who is 31, he has gained valuable tools and information from being around guys like Makhachev and Khabib Nurmagomedov. If he can be patient and display good defense, he should be able to slow down Rzepecki, who is usually very aggressive. Every fighter who has come out of the Nurmagomedov-run camp always seems prepared with an excellent game plan. Zaynukov hasn’t scored a knockout in over two years, and his last three wins have come by decision, making Zaynukov to win on the judges’ scorecards at +140 my favorite play.
