Love Island UK Episode 57 Recap 7/23/26
Friends and family day wrapped up with some more tears of joy. First up on this episode were Jasmine’s mom and sister, as well as Aidan and Kavan’s mom and sister. In their respective debriefs, there was plenty of positive affirmation for every decision that the three of them had made over the past month.
Aidan got some crap from his sister for asking everyone for a kiss, just before Jasmine’s sister, Bella, pulled him for a chat. The other islanders watched from afar and teased Yasmin that Aidan was cracking on with the new bombshell. Once Yasmin got to talk to the family, though, everything went smoothly. Jasmine’s sister wound up admitting to Samraj that she had DM’d his brother, although Samraj told her that he already had a girlfriend. When Samraj told Aidan about the ordeal, Aidan said he thought Jasmine’s sister was cute. He told Samraj and Lorenzo later on that he was trying to chat her up.
That night, Priya pulled Ethan for a chat. She told him that she felt like her mom hated her, but he said not to worry about it. Not long after, Simba got a text that there would be a recoupling at the firepit – the final recoupling of the season, it turns out.
Mica stayed with Samraj, Angelista stuck with Simba, Julia remained with Lorenzo, Yasmin chose to stay with Tommy and Jasmine stayed with Kavan. That left Priya as the last girl to pick, and she opted to make her relationship with Aidan official. Ethan was single at the end of the recoupling and got dumped as a result.
After Ethan said goodbye, the conversation shifted to Aidan’s dealings with Bella. Samraj and Lorenzo grappled with what Aidan told them earlier, while Jasmine and Kavan also talked about the dynamic. Aidan came over to talk to his brother and Jasmine about what went down, even saying that the older version of himself probably would’ve asked for a kiss. He said he thought Bella was cute in a respectful way, saying he was looking forward to the family holidays in their future, but he didn’t exactly extinguish the weird vibes.
Next time, it looks like Jasmine is going to confront Priya about Aidan’s behavior with Bella. The Grafties are also coming up, with fans voting on several awards from across the season.
