Opening up the UFC OKC Main Card is an intriguing matchup with two rising prospects, Tommy McMillen and Alberto Montes. McMillen enters this fight with an undefeated 10-0 record, with nine finishes in his career. His opponent, Alberto Montes, is 11-1 with eight finishes. The Main Card for this event begins at 8:00 p.m. ET and airs on Paramount+. Tonight’s UFC Fight Night is headlined by Dricus Du Plessis vs. Kamaru Usman in a highly anticipated Middleweight contest.

Tommy McMillen to Win by KO/TKO/DQ or Submission (+100)
McMillen trains at Red Hawk Academy, led by Head Coach Tim Welch, which is also the gym of former Bantamweight Champion Sean O’Malley. In his first UFC Fight, McMillen scored a first-round knockout against Manolo Zecchini in April. McMillen has many similarities to his teammate, O’Malley, as he has tattoos covering his body and possesses a tremendous amount of confidence and swagger befitting a future star. McMillen scored a first-round knockout against Manolo Zecchini in his UFC debut in April. Also, nine of his 10 career fights have ended in the first round.
Montes has won four consecutive contests by submission and is coming off his first UFC victory against Ricky Turcios at UFC 326 in March. At Featherweight, McMillen is big for the division and will have a physical advantage over most opponents. In this fight, McMillen has a five-inch height advantage (6’0″ vs. 5’7″) and a reach advantage (74″ vs. 69″).
On DraftKings Sportsbook, McMillen is the favorite in this contest at -166 with Montes as a +140 underdog. The over/under is set at 1.5 rounds, with the over being -135 and the under being +105. Including his fight on Dana White’s Contender Series, McMillen is averaging 9.87 significant strikes per minute, which is extremely impressive. Since he is taller with a larger reach, McMillen should be able to keep Montes at range while picking him apart. Since Montes is also skilled on the ground, I think McMillen will be aggressive on the feet as he has been in his recent fights. With nine of McMillen’s 10 wins coming by finish, my favorite play is getting him at +100 to win by KO/TKO/DQ or submission.
