Hooper, 26, is 16-5-1 with 12 finishes, while Ramirez has a record of 8-3 with five knockouts and two submissions. On Friday morning, Hooper weighed in at 157.5 pounds, 1.5 pounds over the Lightweight limit. Hooper loses 20 percent of his fight purse due to the weight miss.

Hooper is in the midst of a two-fight losing streak, the longest of his career. Before that, Hooper won five fights in a row from May 2023 to April 2025. Hooper lost his last two fights by first-round knockout to Alexander Hernandez and Lance Gibson Jr. His last victory came against Jim Miller at UFC 324 in April 2025. Ramirez also enters this contest on a two-fight losing streak. He is coming off losses to Mike Davis and Thiago Moises in his first two fights in the UFC.
In this contest, Hooper is a -375 favorite with Ramirez being a +295 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook. Hooper is also +150 to win by submission and +320 by KO/TKO/DQ. In this fight, Hooper is taller by two inches (6’1″ vs. 5’11”) with a three-inch reach advantage (74″ vs. 71″).
Hooper is a much better all-around fighter than Ramirez, as he lands more significant strikes per minute (4.50 vs. 3.51) at a higher rate (49% vs. 44%) and averages more takedowns per 15 minutes (2.43 vs. 0.59). Especially after missing weight, Hooper should be extremely motivated to score a finish in this fight. Because if you put on a good performance after missing weight, it looks a little better. Three of Hooper’s last four wins have come by submission, and six of his eight UFC victories have been by finish.
