The biggest star in MMA history, Conor McGregor, is making his long-awaited return against his former foe, Max Holloway, in the Main Event of UFC 329. This event features a stacked 14-fight card, with a highly anticipated co-main event between Benoit Saint Denis and Paddy Pimblett.
It has been 1,828 days, 261 weeks, and 60 months since McGregor last stepped in the UFC Octagon. McGregor’s last fight was on July 10, 2021, where he suffered a TKO loss to Dustin Poirier after injuring his leg. In June 2024, McGregor was slated to make his return against Michael Chandler but had to withdraw due to a broken toe. Holloway is 1-2 in his previous three contests, with his last win coming against Poirier. McGregor beat Holloway when they first fought in August 2013. Since then, both fighters have become massive superstars and UFC Champions. If McGregor can put on another masterpiece after five years away, it is the best comeback story in sports history.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Holloway is a -265 favorite with McGregor being +215 to pull off the upset. Even though McGregor is the underdog, he is getting 91 percent of the handle and 64 percent of bets. Holloway is getting 36 percent of bets and only nine percent of the handle.
Paddy Pimblett is coming off a loss to the new UFC Lightweight Champion Justin Gaethje at UFC 324 in January. Before that, Pimblett won nine straight fights and was on an incredible rise in the UFC. Now he takes on Benoit Saint Denis, a cerebral finisher inside the Octagon, who is 17-3 with 17 finishes and has scored four consecutive finishes in the UFC. Currently, BSD is a -148 favorite with Pimblett being a +124 underdog. Pimblett receives 92 percent of the handle and 80 percent of bets. Meanwhile, BSD has 20 percent of bets and eight percent of the handle on himself.
Another rematch on the UFC 329 card is No. 4 Cory Sandhagen vs. No. 7 Mario Bautista, who first faced each other in January 2019. Since then, Sandhagen has gone 8-5, while Bautista is 11-2. Even though Bautista has a better record since their last fight, it is because Sandhagen has faced tougher competition, having fought for gold twice. Sandhagen is 1-2 in his last three, with his last loss to Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 320 in October 2025. Bautista recently got back in the win column against Vinicius Oliveira. Sandhagen is a -142 favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook, with Bautista being a +120 underdog. 56 percent of the handle is on Sandhagen while Bautista gets 44 percent. Sandhagen is getting 69 percent of bets, with 31 percent on Bautista.
The second fight of the UFC 329 Main Card is a three-round flyweight contest between No 4 Brandon Royval vs. No. 6 Lone’er Kavanagh. After winning two straight fights in 2024, Royval lost back-to-back contests in 2025. Kavanagh is coming off the biggest victory of his career against former UFC Flyweight Champion Brandon Moreno. Kavanagh is the favorite at -218, with Royval being the underdog at +180. For this fight, Kavanagh is getting 79 percent of bets and 75 percent of the handle, while Royval garners 25 percent of the handle and 21 percent of bets.
