Best MLB Strikeout Prop Bets Today (July 3, 2026)
- Washington Nationals vs. Pittsburgh Pirates: Pirates RHP Mitch Keller 4+ strikeouts: Keller has tossed 4+ K in six of his last seven starts, as well as five of his last six road outings, and his floor of 3 K is close enough to the line where an over will almost certainly be in play.
- Atlanta Braves vs. New York Mets: Mets RHP Christian Scott 5+ strikeouts: Across his last eight starts, Scott has hit 5+ K seven times, not to mention the fact that Atlanta’s lineup is among the coldest in the majors and has let a handful of opposing starters exceed their season strikeout production.
- Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Milwaukee Brewers: Brewers LHP Kyle Harrison 6+ strikeouts: Harrison has reached 6+ K in nine of 15 starts this season, including three of his last five and six of his last nine, so he is a pretty good bet in spite of a tough D-backs matchup.
MLB Strikeout Prop Bets Breakdown
Mitch Keller 4+ K (-161), Washington Nationals vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
Keller striking out four or more batters has been a pretty reliable bet this season. He has hit that mark in six of his last seven starts. Even just looking at his road resume – considering Friday’s series opener against the Nationals is in DC – Keller has tossed four-plus strikeouts in five of six away outings. Keller hasn’t recorded fewer than three strikeouts in any of his 17 appearances so far in 2026, giving him a floor only one punchout shy of this line. The Nationals are also fresh off a 10-strikeout performance on Wednesday, having now struck out 30 times across their last three games overall. Although Keller only notched three strikeouts when he faced Washington in April, that was his shortest outing of the year based on both batters faced and innings pitched.
Christian Scott 5+ K (-131), Atlanta Braves vs. New York Mets
Across his last eight starts, Scott has reached at least five strikeouts seven times. His one under in that stretch was a bit of an outlier, since he only struck out three in his 5.2 scoreless frames versus San Diego on June 5. Scott ranks in the 79th percentile with a 27.0% strikeout rate this seaosn, per Baseball Savant, and he is one of 13 MLB pitchers with 10.6 or more strikeouts per nine innings and at least 10 starts. Atlanta averages the seventh-fewest strikeouts per game, but they have also scored the fewest runs in MLB since May 30. And prior to Dustin May leaving early with an injury on Thursday, the Giants had allowed opposing starting pitchers to record at least six strikeouts in three of their previous four games.
Kyle Harrison 6+ K (+132), Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Milwaukee Brewers
Harrison has emerged as one of the most dominant and valuable pitchers in baseball this season – just look at his 8-1 record, 2.57 ERA, 2.8 WAR, 11.2 strikeouts per nine innings and 31.1% strikeout rate. That last mark ranks in the 95th percentile in MLB, according to Baseball Savant, while his overall pitching run value ranks in the 93rd percentile. The 24-year-old southpaw has tossed six-plus strikeouts in nine of his 15 starts this season, as well as three of his five starts in June and six of his nine starts since May 9. It is worth noting that Arizona averages the second-fewest strikeouts per game in MLB. At the same time, lineup regulars Corbin Carroll, Nolan Arenado and Tommy Troy all boast strikeout rates above 20%.
