PITCHER
Stud
Reid Detmers, Los Angeles Angels vs. Boston Red Sox, $8,300 – There’s no mystery with this pick. Yes, it’s a loaded slate for pitching, but Detmers should never be this cheap. The lefty has finally put it all together in 2026, as he enters the day as one of eight qualified starters with a FIP below 3.00 (2.96). Detmers has been even better across his last seven outings, maintaining a 2.42 ERA and a 2.80 FIP with a 30.7% strikeout rate. Heck, Detmers has held opponents to a microscopic .150 batting average in this span. He’s been so, so good. Conversely, the Red Sox have been terrible. They straight up can not hit. Over the past 30 days, Boston ranks 29th in expected wOBA (.287) and 24th in wRC+ (88).
Value
Trevor Rogers, Baltimore Orioles at Cincinnati Reds, $6,700 – Is 2025 Trevor Rogers back? Though his 4.99 ERA for the season as a whole is pretty ugly, Rogers has looked great in his past three starts, surrendering just three earned runs over 19.1 innings with a 1.97 FIP. Is pitching at Great American Ball Park dangerous? Of course. But we’re trying to win GPPs here. Let’s shoot for upside, and Rogers has delivered 27.2 FPTS and a 30.0 FPTS in his past two starts, respectively. Now he’ll face a Reds lineup that sits second in strikeout rate (25.9%) and 28th in wRC+ (85) the past 30 days. I like his chances of keeping the good times rolling.
INFIELD
Stud
Gunnar Henderson, Baltimore Orioles at Cincinnati Reds, $5,300 – This is a steep price to pay for an asset that’s hitting .227 with a 99 wRC+, but Henderson still has the traits of a 30/30 hitter, and he’s got an amazing matchup on Friday night in the form of Brady Singer ($5,500). The veteran RHP has lost some more zip on his fastball this season and, as you might expect, the results have been horrific. Singer owns a fifth percentile opponent average exit velocity (91.3) and a ninth percentile opponent barrel rate (11.3%). He’s also allowing opposing LHBs, like Henderson, to smash 2.47 long balls per nine.
Value
Bryce Eldridge, San Francisco Giants at Colorado Rockies, $4,000 – Not much has gone right for the Giants this season, but top prospect Bryce Eldridge at least looks pretty good. Across 176 plate appearances at the MLB level in 2026, Eldridge has managed a .363 expected wOBA and a 131 wRC+. He’s also kept his strikeout rate in check, which is incredible news, as his 55.8% hard hit rate would be among the best in the league if he had the at-bats to qualify. Justifiably, Eldridge now finds himself hitting in the two-spot in San Francisco’s lineup against RHPs. He should be back in that role on Friday, at Coors Field, in an opposite-hand matchup with Ryan Feltner ($5,000). What’s not to like?
OUTFIELD
Stud
Cody Bellinger, New York Yankees vs. Minnesota Twins, $4,800 – Bellinger is slashing .343/.423/.635 at home in 2026 with a 190 wRC+ and eight of the 11 home runs he’s hit. He’s simply a monster when he sees that short porch in right field. Mike Paredes ($5,200) will likely be less thrilled to be in the Bronx on Friday evening. It’s only a 25.1 inning sample, but the rookie RHP combines a first percentile strikeout rate (11.8%) with a first percentile opponent hard hit rate (51.8%). That’s no way to survive at this level, especially at Yankee Stadium.
Value
Griffin Conine, Miami Marlins at Athletics, $3,900 – We haven’t seen a lot of Conine in the big leagues, but the glimpse we’ve gotten so far in 2026 has been very intriguing. In 61 plate appearances, Conine sports a a .231 ISO and a .413 expected wOBA, all made possible by a massive 13.9% barrel rate. The matchup doesn’t hurt Conine’s value, either. We know games can become barnburners at Sutter Health Park. Just ask Jack Perkins ($6,300), who has surrendered 83.3% of his home runs in Sacramento this season. Perkins has also struggled way more as a starter than as a reliever, as evidenced by conceding 1.96 long balls per nine when opening games.
