Miami Marlins vs. St. Louis Cardinals game delayed due to rain Friday 6/26/26

UPDATE: The game is expected to resume at 10:40 p.m. ET

Friday night’s game between the Miami Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium has been delayed due to rain.

The two teams almost avoided a rain delay, but it became too much to handle in the eighth inning. Miami leads 1-0 in the top of the eighth with a runner on second with zero outs.

Max Meyer pitched seven scoreless frames before the delay. This comes a day after the Cardinals and Diamondbacks series finale was postponed due to rain.
