The PGA TOUR is visiting “Jack’s Place” this week for the seventh of the eight Signature Events on the 2026 calendar. Muirfield Village Golf Club is always a tough test for the elite field, but this week’s event does have a light cut with the top 50 players and ties (along with any players within 10 strokes of the lead) making the weekend. As with every week on the PGA TOUR, DraftKings has a wide variety of contests and formats available. If you’re teeing it up with some conservative lineups designed for cash games, my three top fantasy golf cash plays to consider are Scottie Scheffler ($13,500), Jordan Spieth ($7,900) and Brian Harman ($6,600).

Pivot plays for tournament lineups are usually more aggressive, while fantasy golf cash game picks are safer with higher floors and lower risk. The picks in this post generally have higher ownership than my pivot plays, but they are good selections for contests where the uniqueness of your lineup is less important. Think of cash game picks as lying back and playing a par 5 as it was designed, taking three shots before reaching the green, searching for a solid birdie. Tournament picks are like going driver off the deck to try to reach the green in two — more reward if it works, but much more risk, as well.

Scottie Scheffler ($13,500)
While Scheffler is an extremely expensive option this week, he can still be a solid anchor to build your fantasy golf cash plays around this week. He hasn’t won since January, but he still has been rolling with plenty of outstanding finishes.
He has posted four top-three finishes in his five most recent tournaments, including runner-up finishes at the Masters, the RBC Heritage, and the Cadillac Championship. Scottie ranks first in the field in Total Strokes Gained and Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green over the last six months. He also ranks in the top 10 in Strokes Gained: Approach and Strokes Gained: Putting over that timeframe.
He also has an outstanding course history at Muirfield Village Golf Club, with back-to-back wins in the last two years and third-place finishes in 2021 and 2023. No other player in the field comes close to matching that level of success.
Even without his usual wins this season, Scheffler returns to Muirfield Village Golf Club in great form. He has turned in solid fantasy weeks, and there’s definitely a possibility he gets breaks through this week and gets back in the winner’s circle. If he claims a third straight titale at the Memorial, he would be the second winner of three consecutive events at this course, joining Tiger Woods, who won in 1999, 2000 and 2001.
Scheffler brings lots of win equity this week and can anchor your cash game lineups if you can find the right value to build around him.
Jordan Spieth ($7,900)
Spieth isn’t typically a great option in fantasy golf cash plays since his results are so volatile. He typically puts together very entertaining and exciting rounds full of birdies and bogeys with very few “boring” pars. While boring usually works in cash game picks, Spieth’s overall results have been fairly consistent lately, making him a solid option to consider for this week.
He has eight top-25 finishes in his 14 events this season and has made the cut in 12 consecutive appearances. He ended up in the top 20 at the Masters, the Cadillac Championship, the PGA Championship, and THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson over his last six tournaments.
His winning drought is much longer than Scheffler’s, since he hasn’t won on the PGA TOUR since 2022, when he claimed his 13th career victory. However, he ranks in the top 25 in the field in Total Strokes Gained and in the top 20 in Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green over the last three months. He has gained strokes off the tee in seven of his last eight tournaments and on approach in eight of his last 11 tournaments.
While he hasn’t won at this event, Spieth has an excellent history at the venue. Last year, he finished T7 at the Memorial, and in 2023, he finished T5. Since 2013 when he made his debut at Jack’s place, Speith has racked up nine career top-20 finishes, making the cut in 11 of his 14 career appearances.
That solid track record and good recent form makes him a solid play this week overall, even if his individual rounds can be the regular roller-coaster ride.
Brian Harman ($6,600)
As far as value plays go, Harman is an extremely consistent option to consider at $6.6K. If you take Scheffler or other stars and have to go cheap with a salary saver, the veteran 39-year-old has been very steady this season and typically plays well when courses are difficult.
At Muirfield Village, Harman has a mixed history with four missed cuts and four top-35 finishes in his last eight appearances. He did miss the cut last year, but this year, he has much better form and has made the cut in 11 straight events since the WM Phoenix Open.
Last week in Dallas, Harman finished T22, which was his fourth top-25 finish during that streak of made cuts. His approach game was especially strong last week, and he gained over 1.3 strokes per round in Strokes Gained: Approach.
While he hasn’t been on top of leaderboards very often this season, he has been a steady cutmaker with enough upside to consider for your fantasy golf cash plays since he provides so much flexibility with the rest of your salary cap.
