The Jack Nicklaus-designed Muirfield Village Golf Club (par 72, 7,569 yards, bentgrass greens) in Dublin, Ohio, has been the home of the Memorial Tournament since its inception in 1976. Scottie Scheffler has won each of the last two Memorials, winning by four shots at -10 a year ago. The Memorial is the seventh of eight Signature Events this season, meaning the PGA TOUR’s best players will be competing for a $20 million purse this week. This is a 72-man field and there will be a top-50 and ties cut after the first two rounds.
Below, I dive into three of my favorite DFS options on DraftKings for the Memorial Tournament.

Ben Griffin ($9,000)
Griffin missed the cut in his first two attempts at Muirfield Village in 2023 and 2024, but then he returned to the venue last year a far more polished player and finished runner-up to Scheffler. This came a week after Griffin won the Charles Schwab Challenge, which was one of his three wins on the PGA TOUR last season. The momentum from the victory at Colonial CC carried over to Muirfield Village, as Griffin shot a 7-under 65 in the first round, which tied for the low score of the event.
Griffin was the 24th-ranked player in the world at the time. The 30-year-old now travels back to Muirfield Village as the 14th-ranked player in the world and in a very similar situation to last season, as Griffin is looking to stay hot after finishing T-3 at the Charles Schwab Challenge last week.
At Colonial, Griffin gained strokes in every major category. Plus, after shooting a 2-under 68 in each of the first three rounds, he broke free with a 5-under 65 in the final round. Griffin has now finished T-3, T-63, T-14 and T-3 in his last four starts, and he ranks ninth in SG ARG this season. With the greens so small at Muirfield Village, being an efficient short game player here is vital – three of the last five champions here have finished the event top-three in SG ARG – and Griffin looks ready to contend at this venue for the second year in a row.
Sepp Straka ($7,700)
Coming off a missed cut at the PGA Championship and with the $7,000 range filled with appealing plays, Straka is going to come with low ownership and is one of the best GPP plays for the Memorial. While the Aussie missed the cut at Aronimink GC, he still gained 1.25 strokes on approach. Straka being sent home early was a result of him struggling on the complex greens at the Donald Ross design, as he lost 1.48 strokes putting, which was an issue for many players at the major.
Straka still lighting it up with his irons was encouraging and this marked the fifth straight event that he has gained strokes on approach. This season, Straka has made 9-of-12 cuts with five top-25 finishes and he ranks ninth in SG APP. Four of the last five victors at Muirfield Village have finished the tournament top-12 in SG APP, so Straka is in a great position to post another high finish at this track.
Straka has made 5-of-6 cuts at Muirfield Village and he has finished T-5 and third at this course the last two years. Straka shot a 6-under 66 in the third round at Muirfield Village last year and he ranks 12th among this field in strokes gained per round at the par 72. Straka also won the 2022 Honda Classic at the Nicklaus-redesigned PGA National and he won the 2025 American Express, which features one round at the Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course. Straka clearly has a knack for Nicklaus venues and he brings big upside this week.
Tony Finau ($6,600)
Finau is another player I love buying low on, as very few are going to click on him after he missed the cut at the Charles Schwab Challenge last week. While disappointing, Finau had made 10 straight solo cuts before this, including five finishes of T-31 or better. Just two weeks ago, Finau finished T-6 at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson and he posted an 8-under 63 in the second round, which is one stroke shy of his career low.
Finau is also very fond of Muirfield Village and him getting back on track at Jack’s Place this week is a strong possibility. At this par 72, Finau has only missed one cut in nine starts and he has finished inside the top-15 five times.
Finau just finished T-8 at Muirfield Village two years ago and he has a pair of 6-under 66s on his resume at this tricky venue. Among this field, Finau ranks fifth in strokes gained per round at Muirfield Village.
