What happened to Brandon Nimmo? Injury updates for Rangers at Rockies on 5/20/25

Brandon Nimmo left Wednesday’s Rangers-Rockies game after an apparent injury, adding another lower-body scare to a month that has already included hamstring tightness and a left ankle issue.

Texas had him batting third and playing right field at Coors, so any absence would matter: Nimmo entered the day hitting .288 with four HR, 12 RBI, one steal and a .803 OPS in his first season with the Rangers. There was no immediate severity update, making this a wait-for-testing/day-to-day situation for now. Recheck Texas’ next lineup before treating Nimmo as active.
