What movies are coming out this week? In The Grey, Obsession release dates

The summer movie season is taking a bit of a breather this week before Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu breaks into theaters over Memorial Day weekend. Still, there are still new movies coming out, from Guy Ritchie’s latest action comedy In The Grey to another low-budget horror movie in Obsession.

Those aren’t the only projects coming to movie theaters, though, not to mention everything that’s coming to various streaming services. Here is a full breakdown of all the new and returning films you can check out this weekend:

While most major theatrically released movies officially come out on Fridays, plenty of films actually debut on Thursdays. Preview showings typically don’t start until Thursday night, though, or Thursday afternoon in the case of major tentpole releases.

In The GreyIs God IsObsession and The Wizard of the Kremlin are among the movies that will get nationwide releases on Friday, May 15. Mortal Kombat II, The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Michael are among the most popular films that are sticking around from previous weeks.
