The 52nd cast list for Saturday Night Live has been finalized.
SNL revealed the official roster for Season 52 on Thursday ahead of the show’s return on September 26 with host Jalen Brunson and musical guest Katseye.
The NBC sketch comedy series has recruited newcomers Grace Reiter and Saidah Belo-Osagie, following the mid-season exit of Bowen Yang and the departures of Chloe Fineman and Please Don’t Destroy’s Martin Herlihy.
Much of the core cast will stay the same, underscored by an enduring Weekend Update dest and a returning Kenan Thompson, who extends his lead by signing on for a record 24th season.
Season 51’s breakout star Ashley Padilla and fellow standout Jane Wickline have been elevated to repertory players for the upcoming season. Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane, Ben Marshall, Veronika Slowikoska, and Kam Patterson are resuming their roles as featured players.
