Red Sox outfielder Roman Anthony left Monday’s game against the Detroit Tigers after suffering an apparent injury during his first at-bat. He was replaced in left field by Masataka Yoshida.
Per DraftKings Network’s early eligibility rules, all Anthony bets will be refunded. The Red Sox superstar exited before his second plate appearance.
Anthony has struggled to start the season, hitting just .231 with a .681 OPS and one home run through his first 29 games. The Red Sox (13–21) are only a half game up on the Angels for the worst record in the American League.
