Will DJ Moore bets be refunded after injury during Lions vs. Bills NFL Week 2?

In the first half of Thursday’s game vs. the Bills, DJ Moore landed hard on his shoulder and went to the locker room. He was originally listed as questionable to return with shoulder and stinger injuries, but has since been ruled out.

Before exiting, he did not record a target.

Will DJ Moore bets be refunded?

Thankfully for eligible Moore prop backers on DraftKings Sportsbook, because he left the game in the first half due to injury and did not return, DraftKings’ Early Exit Protected rules apply to qualifying wagers.

Eligible single bets on Moore will be settled as void, with the original stake returned. For qualifying parlays and Same Game Parlays, the Moore selection will be voided and the odds of the wager will be recalculated using the remaining legs.

Bets or selections that were already determined before Moore’s injury may still be settled normally rather than receiving Early Exit protection.

DraftKings Early Exit FAQ

What is DraftKings Early Exit?

DraftKings Early Exit Protected is a free feature that automatically protects eligible NFL player prop bets during the first half. If an eligible player leaves during the first half because of an injury or officially confirmed illness and does not return, the qualifying selection is settled as void.

Which NFL bets are eligible for Early Exit?

Early Exit applies to eligible full-game NFL player props placed before the game, along with select eligible live bets. Qualifying wagers can include single bets, parlays and Same Game Parlays. In parlays, an eligible Early Exit selection is voided and the wager is recalculated using the remaining legs.

Early Exit does not apply for event contact trading on DraftKings Predictions.

Is there a way to get injury protection on bets for the whole game?

Yes. DraftKings Early Exit+ is an optional feature that extends Early Exit protection into the second half of an NFL game for a fee equal to 3% of the wager amount. The fee is separate from the wager and is not refunded. You can upgrade to full-game protection without leaving your bet slip.
