Jrue Holiday, Portland Trail Blazers at San Antonio Spurs ($6,800)
At age 35, Holiday has certainly lost a step, but he’s still as rugged and solid as ever, contributing across-the-board fantasy goodies. He’s put up at least 30 FPTS in six of the last seven games with a high of 50.2 FPTS, all while shooting above 40% in only two of those contests. During the regular season, Holiday shot 45% from the field and 37% from downtown. I don’t think Holiday will be highly rostered, but the floor is relatively high and he’s not going to be cold from the floor forever. If the shots start falling, Holiday should produce in the upper range of outcomes.

Marcus Smart, Los Angeles Lakers vs. Houston Rockets ($4,800)
In Game 1, Smart played 34 minutes and contributed 15 points, two rebounds, eight assists, two blocks and a steal. He shot 5-of-12 from the field (41%) and has been known to lay bricks from time to time. That said, with Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves out, the usage rate was 29.7%, well above the 15.8% mark during the regular season. He’s a veteran with tons of playoff experience and you know he’s going to play hard. Whether he makes his shots is another matter, but the floor is likely in the 20 FPTS range and he did pop off for 40 FPTS twice during the regular season.

Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers ($9,500)
Tatum suffered an Achilles injury a year ago and he’s only played 17 games this season, but it looks like he’s almost back to full strength. The shooting efficiency was rough early on, but over the last nine games, he’s converted more than 50% of his shots four times. He’s gone for at least 50 FPTS in all but one of those games with a high of 73.5 FPTS. In Game 1, Tatum went 9-of-17 (52.9%) from the field while contributing 25 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists and two steals with only one turnover.

Sam Hauser, Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers ($4,200)
I usually hate rostering 3-and-no-D players like Hauser, but we likely need salary relief. In Game 1, Hauser played 29 minutes and finished with 12 points, seven rebounds, two assists and a steal. Boston won by 32 points but it wasn’t all blowout playing time. Hauser started the game and as well as when coming back from halftime, so he’s out there to provide spacing for the stars. On the season, Hauser converted at 39% from downtown and he should get plenty of clean looks here.

Victor Wembanyama, San Antonio Spurs vs. Portland Trail Blazers ($11,500)
In Game 1, Wembanyama posted 35 points, five rebounds, an assist and two blocks, good for 47.2 FPTS. That’s likely the floor as he primarily was a scorer, but we know that he can lift the lid off every statistical category and make each spew out confetti. In the final six game of the regular season, Wembanyama put up at least 70 FPTS four times with a high of 81 FPTS. He isn’t quite yet at the level of Nikola Jokic, but Wembanyama is always in play to put up a ridiculous fantasy stat line.

Robert Williams, Portland Trail Blazers at San Antonio Spurs ($3,800)
Donovan Clingan only played 22 minutes in Game 1 while Williams received 17 minutes. There’a a good chance Clingan gets played off the floor once again, so it wouldn’t surprise if Williams saw a few more minutes in this one. In those 17 minutes, Williams finished with 11 points, six rebounds and four assists, good for 25 FPTS. His agility and athleticism may be needed here. The price is nice as well.
