The MLB has a full 15-game Saturday this weekend with six games on the main DFS fantasy baseball slate, which begins at 7:10 p.m. ET. While there are a few marquee pitching matchups with plenty of recognizable names, there are also some strong MLB DFS value picks that come with major upside despite their lower salaries. If you need to go cheap at a spot or two to balance your spending, these values can definitley stretch your salary cap space while still bringing upside.
The weather for the evening games looks pretty solid with three domes in play and no weather issues expected in the other three venues. Coors Field will be much warmer than it was on Friday, but it still may not be quite as hitter-friendly as it will be later in the summer.

Best MLB DFS value plays
SP Emmet Sheehan, Los Angeles Dodgers at Colorado Rockies, $7,200
Of the probable pitchers for Saturday night, Sheehan is the best value play since so many of the low-cost options have been hit hard, and the aces are extremely expensive. Sheehan has given up 11 runs in his 15 innings this season, but he has also picked up 14 strikeouts and produced 11.5 FPTS per game. His best start of the year came in his last outing at home against the Rangers. He went six innings and had six strikeouts while giving up three runs and earning 20.5 FPTS.
The Rockies are only averaging 3.8 runs per game and hitting .230 as a team, while their 75 wRC+ is the second-lowest in the league. They also have the highest K% in the majors, averaging 10.2 strikeouts per contest.
While it’s always risky to roll a starting pitcher at Coors, the temps are still only in the 50s on Saturday, and Sheehan’s strikeout upside can help compensate for any long balls he serves up.
3B/OF Miguel Andujar, San Diego Padres at Los Angeles Angels, $3,000
Andujar has been a nice pickup for the Padres, especially against lefties like Yusei Kikuchi ($6,400), who will start against San Diego on Saturday night. Andujar is hitting .317 with three doubles, a triple and a stolen base. He has a 48.5% hard-hit rate on the year and has a 54.5% hard-hit rate over the last five games. He picked up two hits in each of his last two starts, producing 10 FPTS against the Rockies and 8 FPTS against the Mariners.
Andujar hit .389 against lefties last year with four homers and a .421 wOBA and 171 wRC+ in the splits. He is 2-for-9 in his career with two doubles against Kikuchi in the past, and he brings nice upside as a bargain play that can fit at the hot corner or in the outfield this Saturday night.
OF Nathan Church, St. Louis Cardinals at Houston Astros, $2,500
Church is in the lineup, hitting eighth against Lance McCullers Jr. ($7,800). The 25-year-old lefty was the team’s No. 21 prospect last year and earned a spot on the roster with a solid spring and an injury to Lars Nootbaar (heels). In his first 17 games this season, Church is only hitting .214, but he has hit a homer and swiped two bases.
His homer came two weeks ago off of relief pitcher Gus Varland to help the team win 7-6 in Washington. He went 3-for-4 with a double and a stolen base for 22 FPTS on Wednesday. He had double-digit fantasy points again on Friday, going 1-for-3 with another stolen base against the Astros to help the Cardinals take the opener, 9-4. With both power and speed potential, Church is a strong bargain play in the outfield in Houston.
