DraftKings NBA Pick6 Fantasy Basketball Picks Today: Top Picks for 4/14/26

It’s finally that time of year again. NBA Playoff basketball is back, tipping off tonight at 7:30 PM EST with a two game slate. The Hornets will host the Heat at 7:30 PM EST, followed by the Suns hosting the Trail Blazers at 10 PM EST.

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!

This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.

Bam Adebayo Less Than 10.5 Rebounds

Charlotte has been a possession bully on the glass all season, coughing up a league-low 47.9 RPG. It’s not just defensive rebounding, either. The Hornets are also fourth in offensive rebound rate at 30.5%, so they’re winning the possession battle on both ends.

This is a tough spot for Bam Adebayo to stack boards. He’s a solid rebounder, but not elite: 9 RPG for his career and 10 RPG over his last five. Miami and Charlotte have met four times this season but Adebayo only appeared in two of those games, averaging 8 RPG in those matchups.

LaMelo Ball More Than 18.5 Points

We’re getting a nice promo on Ball, who’s averaging 20.1 PPG and has just finished one of his healthiest seasons with 72 games played. Ball is averaging 23.2 PPG in his last 16 games and has appeared in 56 straight games. He’s rolling into the postseason in-rhythm with his team and looks to capitalize on a weak Miami defense that’s posting 125 DEFRTG in their last 15 games. Even though he’ll command most of the defensive attention tonight, there’s not much Miami can do to stop Ball from reaching at least his season average tonight.

Jrue Holiday More Than 16.5 Points

Holiday’s bounced back this season after spending two years on the Celtics, during which he made an All-Defense second team and won a title once. He’s averaging 16.3 PPG with 6.1 APG. The one time All-Star’s impact doesn’t always show up on the stat sheet, but this season, it has. Holiday’s FGA has risen back up to 13.4 after only attempting 9.2 FGA during his last season with the Celtics. His scoring has come back and it’s clear that he’s still capable of being an effective main guard for a playoff team. There are other reasons for Portland’s success this season, with two others being Deni Avdija’s All-Star level play as well as Donovan Clingan’s ascension into an above-average center, but Holiday’s impact on winning basketball is undeniable. I’m predicting that we’ll see that impact tonight, especially in the scoring column against the Suns.
