The MLB season is picking up steam. There are far more ways to get involved in the action this season than just via traditional betting. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Baseball!
Here are my top Pick6 plays for today’s MLB slate.
DraftKings MLB Pick6 Plays
Pete Alonso More Than 1.5 Total Bases

Pete Alonso had his first big moment as an Oriole on Monday night. Alonso had been a bit shaky over the first couple weeks of the season, but he showed what he brings to a lineup against the Diamondbacks. Alonso launched a two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Orioles a lead. Baltimore went on to win the game. Alonso should carry that momentum over to Tuesday. Alonso has been great against Merrill Kelly in his career. He has three home runs and a 1.052 OPS in his career against Kelly. This will be Kelly’s first game this season and he could have some rust to knock off. Alonso should be able to generate an extra-base hit in this game to get over this number.
Nolan McLean More Than 5.5 Strikeouts Thrown

Nolan McLean had a brilliant rookie season, earning himself a big role on Team USA for the World Baseball Classic. The Mets were expecting McLean to be a high-end starter for them this season, and so far in 2026, he has done his part. Through three starts, McLean has a 2.70 ERA. He has yet to give up more than two earned runs in a start. McLean’s strikeout numbers have been great, averaging 10.8 K/9. That figure is slightly better than his final number last year. McLean ranks 17th in the MLB in strikeouts per nine innings this season among pitchers to throw at least 15 innings. While the Dodgers have arguably the best lineup in baseball, they are around league average when it comes to striking out, ranking 16th in the MLB in strikeout percentage. McLean has thrown at least six strikeouts in nine of his 11 career starts and should keep that going in this one.
Brandon Marsh More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs

Brandon Marsh has been a consistent bat to start the season for the Phillies. Marsh has been a solid option for the Phillies over the last couple of seasons, but he has started the 2026 season red-hot. He is batting .304 with an .815 OPS through 15 games. Marsh is coming off a huge game in the series-opener against the Cubs. He had three hits, two runs scored and two RBIs against Chicago. He will look to keep that going against Colin Rea. Marsh has crushed Rea in their past meetings. He is 5-of-6 with three doubles in those matchups. Rea has struggled so far this season, not even making it out of the fourth inning in two of his three starts. Marsh should keep his hot start going and get over this combination prop number.
What is DraftKings Pick6?
