The Masters is the first major of the season and this anticipated event will be played at the world-famous Augusta National Golf Club (par 72, 7,565 yards, bentgrass greens). No other course has ever hosted a Masters since the event’s inception in 1934. Rory McIlroy (-11) is the defending champion of the Masters, after defeating Justin Rose in a playoff last season, which completed the career grand slam for McIlroy.

Justin Rose ($9,100)
Per usual at big events, Rose should get overlooked this week, especially with many popular names priced around him. The Englishman loves Augusta National and has been extremely close to winning here twice. Rose lost to McIlroy in a playoff last season and he lost in a playoff to Sergio Garcia in 2017. The veteran has finished in the top-15 on 10 occasions at Augustan National and he has only missed the cuts here in 20 starts.
Rose opened last year’s Masters with a 7-under 65 – which was the lowest score of the tournament – and he ranks sixth among this field in strokes gained per round at Augusta National. Rose looks ready to contend at the venue again this week, too. The 45-year-old has made 11 of his last 14 cuts worldwide and he has won twice during this stretch, most recently at the Farmers Insurance Open in February. In his last start, Rose finished T13th at THE PLAYERS Championship.
Brooks Koepka ($8,500)
Coming off a missed cut at the Houston Open, Koepka shouldn’t be popular, especially with Matt Fitzpatrick at $8,700 soaking up most of the ownership in this price range. Koepka was a chalky play for the Houston Open and while the missed cut was a letdown, in hindsight, it wasn’t that surprising, as this marked his third missed cut in four starts at Memorial Park.
Leading up to this, Koepka’s game was in a great place, finishing T9th, T13th and T18th in his previous three starts. Koepka ranks second in SG APP this season and him carding a high finish at Augusta National this week is totally possible. At this par 72, Koepka has made 7-of-10 cuts, including runner-ups in 2019 and 2023.
Tyrell Hatton ($8,100)
Very few are going to click on Hatton this week, due to the fact he competes on LIV and that there are a plethora of appealing options priced right under him. The 34-year-old hasn’t had the greatest season on LIV, but he has finished inside the top-10 twice in five starts and still is the No.31 ranked player in the world.
Plus, Hatton always gears up for the Masters. The Englishman has made 7-of-9 cuts and provided three top-20 finishes at Augusta National. The last two years, Hatton has finished T9th and T14th at the renowned track. Hatton appears to be more and more comfortable at Augusta National each year, and a third straight top-15 finish here wouldn’t surprise anyone.
Sunjgae Im ($7,500)
The $7,000 range is filled with great targets this week and Im is absolutely going to get lost in the shuffle. Why? Because he has missed two 2-of-4 cuts this season and is on the heels of a mediocre T60 finish at the Houston Open. However, Im struggling at Memorial Park isn’t anything new, as he has finished T50th or worse in three of his four starts at the venue and just before this, he nearly won the Valspar Championship, finishing T4th.
Im has only missed two cuts in his last 10 starts and he has finished inside the top-30 five times over this span. Im ranks sixth in SG ARG when we compare this field’s last 50 rounds, which is a strong sign for Augusta National, as each of the last victors here have finished the event top-10 in SG ARG. Speaking of Augusta National, Im has played very well at this track in the past, making 4-of-6 cuts with three top-10 finishes. He impressively finished runner-up as a Masters debutant in 2021 and Im finished T5th at the major a year ago. Im has shot under par in 12 of his 20 rounds at Augusta National and he ranks 13th in strokes gained per round at the par 72 among this field.
