After double-dipping last week, Daredevil: Born Again is back on its normal schedule. The battle for New York between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk is getting pretty explosive heading into the midpoint of Season 2, with plenty of cameos and crossovers still to come.

When does Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 4 come out?
Episode 4 will premiere on Disney+ at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, April 7. The episode, which is titled Gloves Off, is expected to have a runtime between 50 and 60 minutes.
The second season will consist of eight episodes, compared to the nine-episode first season and the three 13-episode Netflix seasons. The ensuing four episodes will drop weekly through the finale on May 5, followed by The Punisher: One Last Kill special presentation on May 12.

Who will show up in this episode?
Through the first three episodes of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, the cast has been comprised mostly of returning faces. Still, Marvel has confirmed that a few major characters from the Netflix days are coming back into the fold this season. Here is a look at who could pop up in Season 2 Episodes 4:

What to expect in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 4
Right after Matt, Karen and Angela sprung a handful of prisoners from Fisk’s grasp, the mayor blew up the Northern Star – a ship that was transporting weapons to his illegal Red Hook port before Daredevil intervened and the crew partially sank it. Kingpin had just sent a salvage crew onto the boat, though, so he knowingly took them out in order to further demonize the vigilantes. CIA operative Mr. Charles will surely have thoughts on how Fisk handled the situation. Swordsman also escaped shortly after being found guilty in the first of many vigilante trials, all while Bullseye is still on the loose. On top of that chaos, Kingpin is also focused on the videos using classified information to mock him. Daniel Blake seems to know his crush, BB Urich, is behind the videos, but he hasn’t reported her just yet.
Kingpin has also been training for a promotional boxing match, so given the episode’s title and the full-season trailer from January, we could see that finally take place this week.
While we didn’t get a glimpse of Jessica Jones in any of the first three episodes, we know that she is joining the mainline MCU this season. With Fisk escalating the conflict, maybe that will draw the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s toughest private investigator out of hiding. She isn’t the only character set to return to action, but others’ fates remain under wraps.

Marvel Studios confirmed in September 2025 that production for Daredevil: Born Again season 3 would start in early 2026. Filming began in March. The third season of the revival is expected to come out in March 2027.
