Fantasy Basketball Value Picks: Top DraftKings NBA DFS Bargain Plays for Saturday 4/4/26

Just three games make up Saturday’s featured NBA DFS slate. Still, it’s not as if there aren’t any big names taking the floor. Nikola Jokic ($12,400), Victor Wembanyama ($11,600) and Tyrese Maxey ($10,300) are just a few expected to suit up. With that being said, a lineup comprised solely of superstars isn’t feasible for fantasy managers. Finding a few under the radar players at a reasonable price is crucial. Which bargains should managers prioritize ahead of today’s contests?

PG Davion Mitchell, Miami Heat vs. WAS ($4,500)

The Heat have been a fantasy cheat code all season, prioritizing pushing the tempo on offense. Their current pace of 103.5 is easily the fastest in all of basketball. Leading the way all season at point guard is Davion Mitchell. The 27-year-pro isn’t much of a scorer, but he’s provided quality play on both ends of the court. This season, Mitchell is averaging 9.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 6.5 assists while shooting 48% from the field (24.6 FPTS). On defense, he’s also chipped in with 1.0 steals. It’s no coincidence the veteran has started in each of his 66 outings so far.

Inconsistent scoring can make Mitchell a somewhat tricky player for fantasy purposes. With that being said, no team is better for a big-time stat line than Washington. The Wizards have surrendered the NBA’s second-most points (124.3) and second-most assists (29.1) per game to opponents. In addition, they’ve allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing point guards. Mitchell has notched at least 31 fantasy points in two of his last three games. That bodes well for his chances at another stellar performance this afternoon.

PF/C Anthony Gil, Washington Wizards at MIA ($4,200)

Speaking of the Wizards, making sense of this roster can be an exercise in futility. At this point, these Eastern Conference bottom-feeders are just hoping for a quick end to the season. Still, otherwise meaningless games present an opportunity for several unknown role players. That includes Anthony Gill, who has gained a larger role in D.C. over the past few weeks. During his last seven outings, the power forward has recorded 13.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists on outstanding 75% shooting from the field.

To be clear, Gill is somewhat of a known commodity. The 33-year-old has spent all six of his seasons in the pros with Washington. Regardless, he’s one of the few veterans that head coach Brian Keefe has entrusted with important minutes. Gill has logged 31+ minutes in each of his previous three contests. Now, he’ll face a Miami squad giving up the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing power forwards. As previously mentioned, an uptempo Heat offense often leads to extra possessions for both sides. Gill offers serious value on Saturday at just $4,200.
