It’s the final week before the first major of the season on the PGA TOUR, and in its typical spot right before the Masters, the Valero Texas Open at TPC San Antonio is ready to deliver plenty of drama with some players looking to play their way into Augusta with a win this week and others looking to get their game in top form before looking to claim the green jacket. The full field of 132 golfers will be cut to the top 65 and ties after Round 2. With so many players and so many markets available, plenty of strong options fill up the board this week. Some of those strong plays can be combined into an exciting same game parlay — which the DraftKings Sportsbook now offers for golf!
Let’s take a look through the many options and markets available on DraftKings Sportsbook and pinpoint some bets that can combine and multiply odds in a same-game parlay for the Valero Texas Open. Last week, I hit two of the three legs of my SGP, with only Brooks Koepka’s rough week keeping us from a +600 hit. This week, I’m going even bigger with a four-leg Parlay, since everything is bigger in Texas. Let’s see if we can get all these legs to go green at this week’s Valero:

Si Woo Kim Top 20
Kim got off to a great start in 2026, posting a T-11 in Hawaii, a T-6 at The American Express, a T-2 at the Farmers Insurance Open and a T-3 at the WM Phoenix Open. He finished outside the top 20 at Pebble Beach and The Riviera Country Club, but he bounced back with a T-13 at Bay Hill before a T-50 at TPC Sawgrass.
Over the last three months, he ranks second in the field in Strokes Gained: Approach and leads the field in Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green. He also ranks third in the field in Driving Accuracy over that time, which has a critical factor this week due to the course setup. He missed the cut at this course last year, but he made the cut in his previous six trips, highlighted by a T-4 in 2019 and a T-13 in 2022. With good form and course history, Kim has a great chance to land in the top 20 again this week.
Tony Finau Top 40
Finau has been finding better form lately, and the 36-year-old veteran is looking to play his way back to Augusta with a win this week. Even though that seems like a very tall order, his recent success makes him to finish in the top 40 a nice leg to add to the mix this week.
Finau finished T-39 last week in Houston after starting even faster with a 67-69-67 before a Final round 71. It was his fourth top-40 finish in his last five events, and he ranks in the top 25 in Strokes Gained: Approach, Strokes Gained: Around-the-Green, Strokes Gained: Putting and Total Strokes Gained over the last 20 rounds. He finished in the top 40 in two of his last five trips to this event, with a T-3 in 2017 and a T-29 in 2022. He just missed another top-40 last year, finishing T-56 after a rough 76-76 on the weekend. With better form in his return this year, he is a solid option to mix into the parlay as a top-40 finisher.
Sudarshan Yellamaraju over Marco Penge (3 Way)
Yellamaraju and Penge are two young internationals trending up, coming to TPC San Antonio for their tournament debut. Yellamaraju has been excellent over the last several weeks, posting three top-20 finishes in his last four events. He finished T-17 at the Cognizant Classic and followed that with a T-5 at THE PLAYERS and a T-5 at the Houston Open. The 24-year-old ranks seventh in the field in Strokes Gained: Approach and 10th in Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green over the last 20 rounds.
Penge has had a couple of high finishes but has also missed some cuts lately. He finished T-16 at The Genesis Invitational and T-4 at the Valspar but missed the cut at THE PLAYERS and the Texas Children’s Houston Open last week. Penge leads the field in Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee and ranks second in Driving Distance over the last 20 rounds, but he ranks only 100th in Strokes Gained: Approach and 109th in Driving Accuracy.
TPC San Antonio demands accuracy on approach and off the tee, which makes it a much better fit for Yellamaraju’s approach than Penge’s. Both players are rising stars, but this week, Yellamaraju has a better chance to finish ahead.
Denny McCarthy over J.J. Spaun (3 Way)
Both McCarthy and Spaun have a history of success here, but McCarthy’s recent form and better course fit make him my preferred option in this 3-way matchup (tie scored as a loss not a push). McCarthy is a great option at TPC San Antonio since he isn’t a long hitter off the tee but does rely on accuracy and grinding out pars, which is exactly what this track typically demands. He has made the cut in five of his six appearances and finished in the top 25 four times. Two years ago, he chased down Akshay Bhatia with a 63 in the Final Round but lost in the playoff. Last year, he finished T-18 in another strong showing. He is also coming off a T-12 last week at the Texas Children’s Houston Open, where he posted four rounds of 68 or better.
Spaun actually won this event in 2022 in his only win prior to claiming the 2025 U.S. Open. He didn’t play the event last year but finished T-22 and T-51 in his two events since winning, and he missed the cut in each of his two appearances coming into his victory in 2022. Spaun has struggled this season, with a T-24 at THE PLAYERS the only top-25 on his scoresheet. He has missed the cut in four of his last six events this season and ranks No. 120 in this field in Strokes Gained: Putting over the last 20 rounds. Even though his driving and approach play has shown some good signs, his flat stick has held him back and will likely keep him below McCarthy this week.
