With just two tournaments before the Masters, the PGA TOUR is deep in the heart of Texas for this week’s Texas Children’s Houston Open at the Memorial Park Golf Course, right near downtown Houston. The course is a fun one with elevated greens protected mostly by closely shaven run-off areas, along with some water and ravines in play as well. The full field of 135 golfers will be cut to the top 65 and ties after Round 2. With so many players and so many markets available, plenty of strong options fill up the board this week. Some of those strong plays can be combined into an exciting same game parlay — which the DraftKings Sportsbook now offers for golf!

Chris Gotterup Top 20 (including ties)
Gotterup posted a top-20 finish at this course last year with four straight rounds under 70. He improved each round, going 69-68-67-66 to finish T-18. The 26-year-old from Rutgers has already had the best year of his career on the PGA TOUR, doubling his win total to four with wins in Hawaii and Phoenix while adding two more top-20 finishes. He finished T-18 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and T-56 at THE PLAYERS before taking last week off.
Gotterup ranks first in the field in Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green over the last three months, fifth in Total Strokes Gained, and seventh in Strokes Gained: Approach. He also ranks sixth in Driving Distance, which is a key stat on this driver-heavy layout. With his game in good form and a layout that plays to his strengths, Gotterup to get another top-20 finish is a strong place to start this week’s SGP.
Sahith Theegala over Stephan Jaeger (3 Way)
I included Theegala in my top cash game plays for this week, and I think he’s ready for a strong bounce-back week after missing the cut at the Valspar Championship. He made the cut in all four of his appearances at this venue with a pair of top-30 finishes in 2022 and 2024. He ranks very strongly across the board in Strokes Gained over the last three months, ranking in the top 20 in Strokes Gained: Approach, Strokes Gained: Around-the-Green, and in the top 10 in Total Strokes Gained.
Jaeger ranks 25th or worse in this field in each of those categories over the last three months. Last week, he did pop for a T-7 at the Valspar, but before that he had finished T-67 at Pebble Beach, missed the cut at the Cognizant Classic and finished T-62 at THE PLAYERS. Jaeger did get his one career PGA TOUR win at this course in 2024 and finished T-11 last year in his title defense. However, Jaeger has been very volatile throughout his career, usually struggling the week after a top-10 finish. His course history is strong enough to put him in this prop despite his recent form, but I expect Theegala to bounce back with a better showing this week.
Brooks Koepka over Harris English (3 Way)
I highlighted Koepka in my top pivot plays for this week, and I’ll take him to finish ahead of Harris English in this “3 Way” matchup this week. The “3 Way” style improves the odds significantly since it scores a tie as a loss instead of a push. For both these props, though, I am confident that my picks of Koepka and Theegala can finish ahead of English and Jaeger, respectively.
As the next step in his PGA TOUR comeback, Koepka returns to Memorial Park, where he served as player consultant on the latest renovation. He finished T-5 the first time he played this track but missed the cut in his most recent tournament at this venue, which was back in 2021. He has been heating up, though, with three top-20 finishes in Florida over the last month.
English had six straight top-30 finishes to start the season but then missed the cut at THE PLAYERS in his most recent event. He finished T-39 and T-18 in his two trips to this event in the past, but Koepka has a very high ceiling since he ranks in the top five in this field in Strokes Gained: Approach and Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green over the last three months. He also has a significant advantage in driving distance over that same timespan.
