We’re rounding the corner into the postseason with about eight games left on the schedule for most teams. Tonight we’ll have eight games on the slate as the tanking teams continue their race towards the bottom. Playoff-bound teams will still keep their foot on the gas pedal as they try to lock in higher seeds in their conferences.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Donovan Mitchell More Than 26.5 Points
Mitchell’s in a smash spot tonight against the Utah Jazz, who are statistically the worst defense in the league. They’re posting 120.8 DEFRTG on the season and are giving up a remarkable 125.4 PPG this season, and 134 PPG in the last three games. Mitchell should be able to get whatever he wants tonight against this defense as the Cavs get ready to make a playoff push with their revamped roster. Spide’s scored more than 26.5 points in three out of the last five games.

DeAndre Ayton More Than 8.5 Rebounds
Washington’s been horrible all season when it comes to dealing with centers. They’re conceding 57 RPG this season and were the team to let up 83 to the Heat’s Bam Adebayo.
Ayton is averaging 12.3 PPG and 8.3 RPG and his role with the Lakers this season has been a bumpy ride. He’s grabbed as many as 12 rebounds and as few as four in his last five games, so we’ll have to see what kind of workload JJ Redick wants to hand off to Ayton tonight. In this matchup, though, I’m comfortable trusting Ayton to assert himself on the glass against weaker competition.

LeBron James More Than 8.5 Assists
The King has been dishing out 6.9 APG this season, which is his lowest mark since 2011-2022. He’s still an elite playmaker, but things have begun slowing down for James as he’s taken a backseat in his twilight years. Well tonight we can expect him to turn back the clock against the Wizards, who are not only weak in the rebounding department, but also in conceding assists, letting up 29 APG this season to opponents.
James has cleared 8.5 assists in three out of his last five games and will likely do so again tonight in this must-win spot against Washington.
