Kanye West’s Bully is officially set for release on Friday, March 27th. This is Ye’s 12th solo studio album, and his first since Donda 2 in 2022.

Project history

There has been a long, complicated history when it comes to Bully. Ye announced the album all the way back in September of 2024, with plans for it to come out in the summer of 2025. He released several work-in-progress versions of songs. Sonically, they resemble some of his best production work. The beats are fantastic, but the vocals were largely samples and interpolation, with a heavy use of AI technology. According to Ye’s tweet that contained the official tracklist, no AI was used in the final cut of the album.

After numerous delays between the summer of 2025 and this weekend, it seems like the album is officially set to come out. Between his break from solo music and the controversies in his personal life, fans are hoping this is Ye’s comeback record. He is one of the greatest hip-hop artists in history, and it is time for him to show what he is capable of once again.

What time can you begin listening to Bully?

While Ye is always tough to predict, if the album drop follows traditional streaming patterns, Bully will officially be out at 9:00 p.m. PT and at 12:00 a.m. ET on March 27.

Has Kanye West announced a tour for the new album?

There is no official Bully tour announced as of now. However, Ye is set to perform the album over two nights in Inglewood, California on April 1st and April 3rd. The only other date on the calendar to see Kanye West live this year is at the Hellwatt Festival in Italy in July.
