The PFL is back for its second event of 2026! They are making their debut in Madrid, Spain, at the Palacio Vistalegre on Friday, March 20. The PFL Middleweight Champion Costello van Steenis is defending his title against Fabian Edwards in the Main Event of this card.
Costello van Steenis won the Middleweight title after submitting Johnny Eblen in the fifth round in July 2025. This was an unbelievable finish and one of the best of 2025. Although a rematch with Eblen seemed likely, van Steenis is running it back with Edwards, whom he beat in September 2020.
Since their first fight, van Steenis has gone 4-1 with four finishes, while Edwards is 7-2 in that span. Edwards’ last loss came against Eblen in October 2024, but he is currently on a three-fight winning streak. In August 2025, Edwards knocked out Dalton Rosta to win the 2025 PFL Tournament Championship, but now has a chance at the world title. On DraftKings Sportsbook, the challenger is a -125 favorite while van Steenis is a +105 underdog.
Former Bellator Champion No. 2 AJ McKee returns for a Featherweight bout against No. 4 Adam Borics. McKee beat Akhmed Magomedov in his last fight and is 2-1 in the PFL since Bellator ended. Borics from Kill Cliff FC picked up a victory against Jeremy Kennedy in his previous contest in June 2025. McKee is a -375 favorite with Borics being the underdog at +270 in this contest.
