We’ve got eight games on the slate tonight, tipping off at 7 PM EST between the Magic and the Hornets.
The Pistons remain in control over the first seed in the East, but their grip is tenuous. Cade Cunningham will miss extended time due to a collapsed lung, while the Celtics with Jayson Tatum back in the mix have gone 7-3 in their last 10 and trail by only 3.5 games with 16 games to go in the season. The Knicks are 1.5 games behind the Celtics, while Cleveland is 2.5 games behind the Knicks.
The Thunder are also ahead of the second seeded Spurs by 3.5 games, but there’s a much larger gap after the Spurs. The Lakers are seven games behind the Spurs, while the Timberwolves are 8.5 games behind the Spurs.

This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Quentin Grimes More Than 22.5 Points
Grimes has been stepping up lately for the shorthanded Sixers, scoring 28 and 31 points in consecutive games before falling back down to 12 FGA against the Nuggets on March 17th. Despite the hiccup, Grimes remains in a solid position to continue his scoring spree to help keep the Sixers afloat, especially against a defense like the Kings’. Sacramento is 28th in the NBA in DEFRTG with 119.5 and as a result, we have an excellent spot to look at Grimes as a potential boom candidate tonight.
VJ Edgecombe More Than 21.5 Points
Similar to Grimes, Edgecombe is also in a good spot to have a big game for the shorthanded Sixers. The rookie scored in double digits for four consecutive games before cooling off with a 3/12 shooting performance against Denver, in which he only hit for nine points. Sacramento is, again, a different story. I’m counting on the standout rookie to deliver a strong scoring performance tonight due to the minutes that he’ll likely get.
Jalen Duren More Than 11.5 Rebounds
Jalen Duren just finished mopping up the Wizards for 36 points and 11 rebounds on 76.5% shooting from the floor, and he’s not finished just yet. He only grabbed 11 boards that game, but he’s now hit a double double in four straight games. The Wizards are conceding the most ORPG in the league this season with 56.9, and Duren is in a good spot to continue abusing them on the glass. The Pistons just lost Cade Cunningham for an extended period of time, which hurts Duren’s ability to get easy buckets near the rim, but he’ll still be able to control the glass for Detroit.

Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
Sweat Your Picks
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
