We’re got nine games on the slate tonight, tipping off at 7 PM EST between the 76ers and the Pistons and concluding with the Bulls visiting the Lakers at 10 PM EST.
The Pistons, Celtics, Knicks, and Cavaliers sit atop the Eastern Conference in that order. The Thunder, Spurs, Rockets, and Lakers lead the West.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Cade Cunningham More Than 24.5 Points
Truthfully, nothing about Cunningham’s season nor tonight’s matchup suggests that he’ll get fewer than 24.5 points tonight. He only scored 21 points against the Brooklyn Nets, but his minutes were low at 26 due to the blowout. Cunningham’s season average has dropped lately to below last season’s, with just 25.1 PPG. He’s still an MVP candidate and an electric player, but there’s still work to be done on his efficiency issues if he wants to truly establish himself on the highest tier of NBA players. His 35% shooting from deep also needs to be improved if he wants to consistently space the floor.
The 76ers are just the 17th ranked defense and will also be without many starters tonight in Joel Embiid, Paul George, Tyrese Maxey, and Kelly Oubre Jr. Cunningham should be able to make a big impact tonight by stuffing the stat sheet.

Jamal Murray Less Than 23.5 Points
Murray’s having an excellent season for the Nuggets, appearing in his first All-Star game with 25.5 PPG and 7.1 APG. He’s coming off a big 30 point night against the Rockets on 52.4% shooting from the field and three triples. His form bodes well for Denver’s odds of making a nice playoff run, but tonight he’ll have Stephon Castle draped all over him with Victor Wembanyama prowling behind. The Spurs are a tough matchup for anybody, and although most eyes will be on the Nikola Jokic and Wembanyama matchup, Murray’s going to have to work hard to earn his buckets tonight against the third-rated defense in the league.

VJ Edgecombe Less Than 18.5 Points
There’s no Embiid, Maxey, George, and Oubre Jr. tonight, which means a ton of shots of usage will be up for grabs. Edgecombe answered the call in the last game against the Grizzlies, posting 21 points, five rebounds, and five assists in 35 minutes. It’s been an exceptional rookie campaign thus far. But Detroit is a tall order. The Pistons are posting an absurd 108.8 DEFRTG on the season, making them the second best defense and thus a very tough problem to solve. Edgecombe has flashed some immense potential this season, but he’s not yet equipped to deal with a defense this strong.
