Up next for the Florida swing is THE PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass (par 72, 7,352 yards, POA trivialis greens) in Ponte Vedra Beach. This Pete Dye-designed course has been the home of THE PLAYERS Championship since 1982. Rory McIlroy (-12) won this event last season by defeating J.J. Spaun in a playoff. THE PLAYERS Championship features a season-high $25 million purse with the winner taking home $4.5 million. There will be 121 players competing this week and a top-65 and ties cut after the first two rounds.

Russell Henley ($9,000)
Henley is one of the best high-end targets for THE PLAYERS Championship. Two of his five wins have come in Florida, and Henley has finished inside the top-30 in three of his last four visits to TPC Sawgrass, most notably with a T13 in 2022. Henley has a 65 and a pair of 66s on his resume at TPC Sawgrass, and the 36-year-old is quietly playing outstanding golf. Henley has carded a top-20 finish in 12 of his last 13 starts, most recently with a T6 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational last week.
Henley was one of only four players to shoot under par in all four of his rounds at Bay Hill, and he has shot under par in 12 of his 14 rounds this season. Furthermore, Henley ranks top-25 in SGP and par four performance.
Alex Noren ($7,200)
After a stretch of three missed cuts in a row, Noren has found something in his game. The Swede has finished inside the top-30 at three straight tournaments, one of which was a T12 at the Genesis Invitational last month. At all three of these events, Noren finished positive in SG APP and SG ARG. The 43-year-old ranks 25th in SG ARG this season, and his strong short game bodes well for TPC Sawgrass, as two of the last three winners here have finished the week in the top six in SG ARG.
Noren has made 4-of-7 cuts at TPC Sawgrass, and all four of these finishes have come inside the top-30. The veteran finished 10th at the track in 2017, and Noren is one of the top values of the week at only $7,200.
Daniel Berger ($7,100)
Don’t let Berger blowing a five-shot lead at the Arnold Palmer Invitational last week stop you from rostering him at this cheap salary. The 32-year-old still finished runner-up, adding to his long list of strong finishes in his home state of Florida. This is the second time Berger has finished runner-up in the Sunshine State, and he ranks 14th among this field in strokes gained per round in Florida. At the volatile TPC Sawgrass, Berger has been reliable, making 7-of-8 cuts.
The former Florida State Seminole has finished inside the top-20 four times at this Dye design, three of which have come in the last three years. Berger has only missed one cut in his 13 starts, and his ball striking has been great this season, ranking 11th in SG APP. Berger has top-20 upside this weekend, and he could come with single-digit ownership after his collapse last week.
