The “Greatest Show on Grass” gets underway this Thursday as the PGA TOUR rolls into Phoenix for its annual Super Bowl week stop at TPC Scottsdale. Typically, the tournament provides some great pre-kickoff drama, and the raucous crowds always bring plenty of energy to this iconic track in the desert. As you’re building your DFS fantasy golf lineups for what should be a great tournament, one format to consider is cash games or double-up contests on DraftKings. If that’s the format you choose to play this week, my top fantasy golf cash game picks are Pierceson Coody ($8,000), Rasmus Hojgaard ($7,700), and Min Woo Lee ($7,400).

Pivot plays for tournament lineups are usually more aggressive, while fantasy golf cash game picks are safer with higher floors and lower risk. The picks in this post generally have higher ownership than my pivot plays, but they are good selections for contests where the uniqueness of your lineup is less important. Think of cash game picks as lying back and playing a par 5 as it was designed, taking three shots before reaching the green searching for a solid birdie. Tournament picks are like going driver off the deck to try to reach the green in two — more reward if it works, but much more risk as well.
These fantasy golf cash game picks are best used in “cash games,” which are contests that pay out to about the top half of entries. Typically, they are in the 50/50s & Double Ups or Head-to-Head sections of the DraftKings lobby.

Pierceson Coody ($8,000)
Coody is going to be popular this week, but I’ve been driving his hype train since last fall, and I’m not getting off at this point! He’s still relatively affordable at only $8,000, and he can be part of a very balanced build for cash games or the secondary option to an expensive play. Coody has been red-hot since last fall and the 26-year-old is putting together the start of what could be a breakout season.
Coody’s game fits the course very well this week since he excels off the tee and on approach. Over the last 24 rounds, he ranks sixth in the entire field in Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green and also ranks in the top 25 in Total Strokes Gained, Strokes Gained: Approach, and Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee.
He finished 2025 with five straight made cuts, including a T-3 at the Bank of Utah Championship, also played in the desert on a course that is a little similar to what he’ll face this week. Coody also carried over his strong finish from last fall to a great start to 2026. He posted a T-13 in Hawaii, a T-18 in La Quinta, and last week’s T-2 at Torrey Pines. He hadn’t made the cut at any of those events in the past, but he still had great weeks.
Even though he’s making his debut at this event, his recent form and great course fit make him a top target for cash game plays.
Rasmus Hojgaard ($7,700)
Both of the Hojgaard twins look ready to establish themselves as regular characters on PGA TOUR leaderboards this season, and this week, I’m rolling with Rasmus, who finished T-12 at this tournament last season while playing in the final group on Sunday.
Last year, he split his time between the PGA TOUR and the DP World Tour, showing the ability to contend in a wide variety of courses and setups. Last year, he posted seven top-25 finishes in his 20 events on the PGA TOUR, highlighted by a runner-up finish at the Zurich while partnered with Nicolai, a T-3 in the Sanderson Farms Championship last fall, and a T-14 at the Baycurrent Classic to close out his PGA TOUR season.
He added to that fall success with four top-25 finishes on the DP World Tour last fall, with a runner-up finish at the Danish Golf Championship and another at the Omega European Masters last August.
This season, Hojgaard has already played two events on the PGA TOUR, posting a T-44 at The American Express and a T-30 at the Farmers Insurance Open. He ranked third in driving distance and 10th in Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee last week at Torrey Pines, and his driver-forward game should set him up for success this week.
He has a well-balanced game like Coody and the ability to go low quickly. His salary is a little low due to the fact that he’s an international player who is less well-known, but his upside is still extremely high.
Min Woo Lee ($7,400)
Lee is another player coming in with good form from playing overseas. The 27-year-old from Australia claimed his first PGA TOUR victory at the Texas Children’s Houston Open last year and made the FedExCup Playoffs for the second straight season.
Last season, he made the cut in 14 of his 19 events on the PGA TOUR, with seven top-25 finishes. He did most of his work after the FedExCup Playoffs on the DP World Tour, but he did play the Baycurrent Classic on the PGA TOUR, where he finished T-10. Throughout the fall, he also posted three straight top-15 finishes on the DP World Tour, including a T-5 at the BMW Australian PGA Championship and a T-14 at the Crown Australian Open.
Two weeks ago, Lee made his first PGA TOUR start of the season, starting with a blistering 62 and ending up T-38 in La Quinta. He led the field in driving distance and finished T-13 in GIR, both of which could be great indicators for this week in the desert.
Since Min Woo is a bit of a showman, he’s typically a crowd favorite and seems to soak up the spotlight at TPC Scottsdale. He made the cut with a T-71 in his debut two years ago and looked much sharper with a T-12 last year, including three rounds under 70 to close out the week. He brings both a very high ceiling and a solid floor, given his recent play around the world, and he is one of my top fantasy golf cash plays this week.
