Fantasy Basketball Value Picks: Top DraftKings NBA DFS Bargain Plays for Friday 1/30/26

A loaded nine-game slate makes up Friday’s featured NBA DFS action. On one hand, it’s a boon for fantasy managers. Seemingly endless options means more variety in terms of players to choose. However, there’s always a downside. Extra teams means a higher likelihood of making the wrong selection.

Which players at a discounted price should managers target tonight? Here are three bargains to consider in DFS and season-long fantasy formats.

PG/SG Anfernee Simons, Boston Celtics vs. SAC ($4,700)

What’s been behind Boston’s remarkable 2025-26 campaign? Several factors, including an impressive collection of depth. Acquired last summer, the C’s brought aboard Anfernee Simons to provide some instant offense. So far, it’s been a mixed bag for the ball handler. Through 47 games, he’s averaging 13.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists (22.6 FPTS). Decent shooting splits (44/40/88) have salvaged the guard’s production.

You never fully know which Simons you’ll get on any given night. Still, Friday’s contest looks promising. The Kings are allowing the fourth-most points per game (120.6) to opponents this season. Sacramento has also given up the seventh-most fantasy points to shooting guards. Simons has logged at least 25 minutes in four of his last six outings. Expect that to continue with Jaylen Brown (knee) listed as doubtful tonight. The 26-year-old is a name to prioritize this evening.

SG/SF Jake LaRavia, Los Angeles, Lakers at WAS ($4,300)

There’a a good chance Luka Doncic (ankle) sits out on Friday. Against the woeful Wizards, Los Angeles should have enough depth to earn another victory. Still, that’ll require some bench pieces to step up in an expanded role. More minutes are seemingly inevitable for Jake LaRavia. The forward, signed this offseason, has been solid during his Lakers debut. Over 46 games, he’s posted 9.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.4 steals (21.4 FPTS).

LaRavia’s playing time tends to hover between 25 and 30 minutes on most nights. If Luka sits, he should surpass that on Friday. As previously mentioned, Washington is an atrocious defensive unit. The Wizards have surrendered the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing small forwards this season. To make matters worse, they rank inside the NBA’s bottom three teams in points, rebounds and assists allowed. If nothing else, LaRavia has a safer floor than some other guys in this price range. The underrated wing could pay big dividends tonight.

SF/PF GG Jackson, Memphis Grizzlies at NOP ($4,200)

Few players embody the 2025-26 Grizzlies better than GG Jackson. Undeniably talented, but equally erratic. Once seen as an intriguing piece for Memphis’ future, the third-year pro has been relegated to just 16.5 minutes per game this season. During that time, he’s accounted for 7.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 0.7 assists (14.8 FPTS). With that being said, the Grizz are dealing with an abundance of injuries. Now, Jackson finds himself once again in a prominent role.

GG has notched at least 21 minutes over his last four outings. During that stretch, he’s averaging fantasy points per game. That’s not an eye-popping total, but it does suggest some level of consistency. Tonight, Memphis takes on a miserable Pelicans defense. Even for a part-time player such as Jackson, New Orleans doesn’t pose much of a challenge. At just $4,200, Memphis’ underrated wing is poised another solid showing.
