The stage is set for perhaps the greatest NFL Playoff game of all time on Sunday night. In terms of advanced metric DVOA, this matchup is basically the best contest to take place league-wide over the last 47 years and only the seventh playoff game in which both teams had a DVOA over 30%. The Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks are both awesome, but only one can survive and advance to make the Super Bowl.
Seattle is a 2.5-point home favorite with the game total set at 45.5 points on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Here are the best Jaxon Smith-Njigba prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Seahawks vs. Rams in the NFC Championship Game.
Best Jaxon Smith-Njigba prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
If his breakout last season was the pregame, Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s 2025-26 campaign has been a full-on rager of a party. The third-year wideout showed flashes of his game-breaking talent as a rookie before emerging onto the scene last year, but he’s truly taken his game to an elite level over the last 18 games. The Ohio State product saw 157 targets, catching 119 of those for 1,793 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. Those numbers place him fourth in targets, third in receptions, first in yardage and fourth in touchdown catches among all NFL wideouts. With a PFF receiving grade of 92.8, he also comes in at second among the position. The guy is a top-five wideout, hands down, no debate.
Now, he gets to play the most important game of his career against a Rams secondary which has proven vulnerable at times throughout the campaign. Los Angeles allows 220.6 passing yards per game (21st) with 26 passing touchdowns allowed during the regular season, placing the unit firmly in the lower portion of the middle of the pack in TDs conceded via the air. Not only that, but PFF analysis reveals that the Rams utilize zone coverage at the seventh-highest rate in the NFL. Why does that matter? Smith-Njigba ranks second among all wideouts in YPRR against zone coverage.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Smith-Njigba’s prop bet lines are set at O/U 91.5 receiving yards, 6.5 catches, and a longest reception of 27.5 yards. His odds to score an anytime touchdown come in at +105, second shortest of any player in this game.
Given the fact that the Seahawks face the league’s highest-scoring offense helmed by MVP leader Matthew Stafford under center, even this strong Seattle defense could falter on Sunday. This should be a very competitive game with neutral game script, if not a pass-happy one which sees the need to air the ball out more than usual in order to keep pace with Los Angeles. For the wideouts and Smith-Njigba in particular, that sets him up for success either way. Here’s a snippet from my top props overview for Seahawks vs. Rams:
He’s obviously an incredible talent who even the best defenses can’t seem to slow down, catching at least five passes in 15/18 games with over 6.5 catches in 12/18 overall. Seattle may not throw as often in neutral game scripts, but the attack does center around its star receiver whenever the ball does fly. His target share of 36.2% led the entire NFL, so it’s clear that Darnold will send the pigskin his way.
Over 6.5 receptions for the star earned a spot as one of the top prop picks for this game, and I fully stand by that analysis here as well. Smith-Njigba caught over twice as many passes as the next-closest option in Seattle, so it’s not difficult to project plenty of volume for him in this game as long as the Seahawks don’t totally shut down the opposing offense. Plus, Los Angeles defensive backs Cobie Durant and Quentin Lake rank 41st and 36th in PFF coverage grade, so neither of JSN’s likely primary matchups are shutdown defenders. Between the reliable role as the centerpiece of the aerial attack, potential game script and the benefit of a positive matchup, Smith-Njigba should go over this line and haul in at least seven passes on Sunday.
Best Bet: Jaxon Smith-Njigba over 6.5 receptions (-117)
