We’ve got a break from the CFP as we await the showdown between Miami and Indiana on January 19. That doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty of action, however. The second week of 2026 brings more NFL playoff action, along with a packed lineup of NBA and college basketball games, and more across the sports calendar.
Here’s your full sports on TV schedule with start times and where to watch.
Monday, January 12
The week kicks off with the final game in the NFL Wild Card round of the playoffs. The Houston Texans are 3-point road favorites over the Pittsburgh Steelers, who punched their ticket into the playoffs by beating the Ravens in the final game of the regular season on Sunday Night Football thanks to a missed 44-yard field goal.
Houston comes in winners of their last nine games in a row, but has never won a playoff road game. However, bettors are riding with the Texans, with Houston getting 53% of the handle and 58% of bets, according to the DraftKings Network Betting Splits page. If you’re looking to back the ‘Burgh take note: Aaron Rodgers has recorded 225+ passing yards in each of his last nine postseason appearances. He has also thrown two or more TDs in nine of his past 10 postseason appearances.

A busy day in sports is headline by an NFL Divisional Round doubleheader, as the 49ers travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks and the Bills head to the Mile High city to take on the Broncos.
Despite winning 13 of their last 14 games and being the No. 1 seed in the AFC, Denver finds themselves sitting as a 1.5-point home underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook. The betting public seems to agree, with the Bills pulling in 69% of the handle and 54% of bets, according to the DraftKings Network Betting Splits page. Two stats to keep in mind, courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook:
- Each of the Broncos’ last six postseason games against AFC opponents have gone UNDER the total points line.
- The home team has covered the spread in six of the Broncos’ last seven games.
- Can’t Miss Matchup: Buffalo Bills (-1.5) at Denver Broncos

Sunday, January 18
The week concludes with the final two games of the NFL Divisional Round. The Rams will take on the Bears in Chicago, while the Patriots will take on the Texans.
The Bears rallied from being down 21-3 at halftime against the Packers in the Wild Card Round, which continued a trend that has seen Chicago lose the first half in each of their last six home games against teams that held a winning record. The Rams had to rally from a late 31-27 deficit to defeat the Panthers, with Matthew Stafford engineering a game-winning 71-yard scoring drive. It should be noted that Stafford suffered an injury to a finger on his throwing hand which he said “wasn’t great,” but imaging came back negative.
Perhaps that injury as well as the Bears status as the Comeback Kids is weighing on the minds of bettors, as the Bears are pulling in 80% of the handle and 55% of bets as of publishing time, according to the DraftKings Network Betting Splits page.
