The 2026 PGA TOUR season begins this Thursday with the Sony Open. This event will be played at Waialae Country Club (par 70, 7,044 yards, Bermuda greens) in Honolulu, Hawaii. This venue has hosted the Sony Open since its inception in 1965. There will be 120 players competing this week and a top-65 and ties cut after the first two rounds. At last year’s Sony Open, Nick Taylor (-16) defeated Nico Echavarria in a playoff to win the tournament.
