Frank Martin, the former title challenger, is returning to face Rances Barthelemy, who is a former IBF Light Welterweight Champion. Martin has a record of 18-1 with 12 knockouts, while Barthelemy is 30-3-1 with 15 knockouts. Both fighters are coming off a loss and looking to get back in the win column. Neither fighter has suffered back-to-back defeats in their career. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Martin is a -700 favorite while Barthelemy is a +425 underdog. In this fight, Barthelemy has the physical advantage with a larger standing reach (72.5” vs. 68”) while being taller (5’10” vs. 5’8”)
The second bout of the Prelims on DraftKings Network features a Super Welterweight contest between undefeated contender Isaac Lucero and Roberto Valenzuela Jr. Lucero is 17-0 with 13 knockouts in his career and has defeated his previous six opponents via knockout. His last decision victory came in August 2022. Valenzuela Jr. is on a five-fight winning streak with all of them coming by knockout. In this bout, Valenzuela is three inches taller (5’11” vs. 5’8”). Lucero is a -650 favorite as Valenzuela is a +425 underdog in this bout.
Rising star Luis Nunez is 21-0 at 26 years old and is taking on former IBO Featherweight Champion Hector Sosa in a 10-round Super Bantamweight contest. Nunez is coming off a fourth-round knockout against Daniel Ramirez. Sosa most recently got back in the win column against Liborio Solis after his previous loss to Omar Trinidad. Nunez has a slight edge in height against Sosa (5’7” vs. 5’5.5”). Nunez is a massive -1000 favorite with Sosa being a +550 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook.
