Is Wan’Dale Robinson still a must-start in Week 11 with Jameis Winston at QB?

With Jaxson Dart in concussion protocol, the Giants will be starting Jameis Winston ($4,600) at quarterback this Sunday vs. the Packers, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

This will be Winston’s first start of the season and turning to the veteran makes sense, as Russell Wilson has been ineffective when under center for New York this season. Winston has yet to play a snap this season, but he is an extremely aggressive passer that has a long history of making his pass catchers fantasy stars. For example, Winston made seven starts for the Browns last season and the inconsistent Jerry Jeudy was terrific during this stretch with 22.9 FPTS per game.

Ever since the Giants lost Malik Nabers (knee) for the season in Week 4, Wan’Dale Robinson has been the team’s main pass catcher, leading New York with a 28.3% target share. With the Giants likely to be forced to air it out this Sunday as seven-point underdogs vs. Green Bay on DraftKings Sportsbook, Winston should pepper Robinson with targets.

The problem is, Robinson is primarily a slot receiver, so he is averaging a modest 8.7 aDOT and 1.71 YPPR this season, and this is a brutal matchup, with the Packers giving up the fewest yards per pass in the NFL (5.5). In this ugly spot, Robinson is unlikely to produce a ton of yards, but he should catch a bunch of passes and the wideout is a safe bet for 10-15 FPTS in full PPR formats like DFS on DraftKings.
