The 30-year-old ranks second on the Eagles in receptions, third in receiving yards, and leads the team in receiving scores.

This is especially noteworthy in this matchup as the Packers have struggled to slow down tight ends all year. Green Bay has conceded 56 receptions to opposing tight ends this season, the most in the NFL, or an average of seven receptions per game. Trey McBride tallied 10 receptions for 74 yards and a pair of touchdowns, Zach Ertz had six receptions for 64 yards and a score, Jake Ferguson had seven receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown, and Sam LaPorta tallied six catches for 79 yards against the Packers already this season.

Goedert sits somewhere in the middle of these names in terms of talent, but his role within this Eagles’ offense is clear.
