Week 10 had some thrilling matchups and good games, along with some statement wins from teams looking to establish their spots in the postseason chase. Even with Sunday and Monday night matchups still to come, several names are already popping as strong pickups from the waiver wire for Week 11.
As we start to get ready for next week, it’s important to remember that the Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans are coming back from their bye week with just the Colts and Saints on a bye for Week 11.

Another key factor to keep a close eye on every week is new injuries. Here are some new situations to monitor moving forward:

With those injuries in mind, here are some of my early names to watch if you’re shopping on the Week 11 waiver wire.
WR Tez Johnson, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Last week, I highlighted Parker Washington (17.9 FPTS) who is still a great pickup and playmaker for the Jaguars, but Tez Johnson (20.2 FPTS) has even lower ownership and makes a great addition since he continues to be so involved in the Bucs’ offense.
Coming back from the bye week and facing the Patriots, Johnson caught four of his five targets for 42 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
The rookie from Oregon has proven to be more than just a big-play wonder and has established himself as a key part of the passing game, especially with Mike Evans (collarbone) out for a while and Chris Godwin Jr. (fibula) still not ready to return. He has at least four catches in four of his last five games, totaling 18 catches during that span and scoring four touchdowns.
Johnson has been getting involved in both the short and deep passing game and has scored on long passes and receiver screens. He and the Bucs have big road games against the Bills and Rams the next two weeks. Baker Mayfield trusts the rookie playmaker, and he’s a good add with a high ceiling going forward.
Another rookie that is starting to carve out a meaningful role and deserves a look in deep leagues is Texans’ receiver Jayden Higgins (15.2 FPTS), who scored his third touchdown of the season while helping the Texans come back against the Jags. He has a favorable matchup next week against the Titans.
RB Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons
While Bijan Robinson (10.8 FPTS) remains the starting and workhorse RB for the Falcons, Tyler Allgeier (17.7 FPTS) has also worked his way into a large enough role to be useful for fantasy.
Allgeier had 11 carries for 57 yards and two touchdowns in Germany against the Colts. He has three games with at least 50 yards and has scored a total of six rushing touchdowns on the year, typically taking over for short-yardage goal line work.
Allgeier isn’t going to be passing up or replacing Robinson barring injury, but he is a decent touchdown-dependent flex play if you need him for the next few weeks.
The Falcons already had their bye week, so they’re back in the States for next week’s home matchup against the Panthers. They go on the road with favorable matchups against the Saints and Jets in Week 12 and Week 13.
If you need running back help, Allgeier has solid potential as a backup and could be a league-winner if Robinson were to go down.
Woody Marks (16.1 FPTS) is still very under-owned in his timeshare in Houston, while Emari Demercado (13.4 FPTS) should continue to be involved in Arizona as well.
QB Dillon Gabriel, Cleveland Browns
While the Browns lost to the Jets in their return from their bye week, Dillon Gabriel (20.1 FPTS) had a strong showing. He completed 17 of 32 passes for 167 passing yards with two touchdowns, including this pass to Jerry Jeudy.
The rookie from Oregon has only reached 200 yards in one of his five games since taking over the starting role, but he has thrown two touchdowns in three games, including each of his last two games. He also added a career-high 54 rushing yards against the Jets, showing he can add some production on the ground when given the opportunity.
Gabriel is almost universally available and would lose his job if the fans on X had their way. However, he has a very favorable schedule for the next few weeks, and I like his ceiling potential as a flier play or deep-league fill in option. He faces the Ravens , Raiders, 49ers, Titans and Bears in the next five weeks, all of which are favorable spots to roll with the rookie if your situation is forcing you to hunt for a QB on the Week 11 waiver wire.
Another rookie Tyler Shough (19 FPTS) also had a solid showing and could be a deep-league alternative if you can wait until after the team’s Week 11 bye.
TE Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans
Rookie QB Tyler Shough has shown a good connection with tight end Juwan Johnson (19.2 FPTS), who has bounced on and off of waiver wires in most leagues this season. Johnson is a good option from the waiver wire in. Week 11, but he’s owned in about 50% of leagues, while Schultz is still available in almost two-thirds of leagues.
The Texans’ veteran has been a PPR contributor all season and he broke through for a bigger game in Week 10 while scoring his first touchdown of the season.
Schultz has 45 catches on the year for 59 targets. He has at least three catches in every game this season but one, and he has at least five catches in six of his last seven.
His yardage totals haven’t typically been very impressive, but the fact that he gets such high volume makes him a very viable option as a fill-in or depth option.
Other tight ends that could be available in your league that had big games in Week 10 include Cade Otton (17.2 FPTS), Theo Johnson (14.5 FPTS), and Ja’Tavion Sanders (8.2 FPTS).
Bears DST
The Bears fell behind to the Giants, 17-7, but they stormed back and won, 24-20. The defense stepped up with one takeaway and four sacks, while holding the Giants to only 20 points.
They have five straight games with multiple sacks since coming off their bye week, and they have 11 takeaways in those five games as well.
Next week, the Bears are on the road against the Vikings, who have been a great matchup for DST, so if you need a streaming option, they’re a good option to consider as a one-week fill-in.
Other streaming options to consider from the waiver wire in. Week 11 include the Patriots (vs. NYJ on Thursday), the Commanders (at MIA), the Cowboys (at LV), and the Falcons (vs. CAR).
