2025 NFL Week 3 Fantasy Football Scoring Leaders: Tre Tucker, Jalen Hurts, Jonathan Taylor 

Before you set your fantasy football lineups for your upcoming matchup, it’s time to take a look back at which players performed the best in Week 3.

Josh Allen, James Cook and Dalton Kincaid continued to dominate on Thursday Night Football, while some surprising faces broke out on Sunday. The Detroit Lions’ backfield duo of Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery then exploded on Monday Night Football for nearly 60 fantasy points between them. Of the top eight quarterbacks, two were backups and five were outside the top 12 ADP to start the season. And in addition to three of the top 11 running backs being rookies, the far-and-away best wideout was likely a fantasy free agent.

Quarterback Scoring Leaders

1. Jalen Hurts (PHI): 30.0 points
2. Caleb Williams (CHI): 29.1 points
3. Lamar Jackson (BAL): 27.02 points
4. Geno Smith (LV): 26.1 points
5. Josh Allen (BUF): 23.0 points
6. Marcus Mariota (WAS): 21.3 points

Through one half of action, it looked like Jalen Hurts was going to put up his second consecutive fantasy dud. He had a tush push touchdown in the first quarter, but was otherwise ineffective through the air. Then, Hurts finally started looking A.J. Brown’s way and began to push the ball downfield. The result was a 19-point comeback for the Eagles, sparked by Hurts’ four total touchdowns and 266 total yards.

For the second week in a row, Jonathan Taylor was the No. 1 running back in all of fantasy. He continued to get heavy workload at the goal line while also breaking off big runs to help the Colts keep their foot on the gas. On 17 carries, Taylor rushed for 102 yards and three touchdowns, plus 16 receiving yards on three catches and four targets.

Wide Receiver Scoring Leaders

The underlying numbers were there for Tre Tucker across Weeks 1 and 2 of the NFL season, but he had yet to make a real impact in fantasy. He finally broke out Sunday afternoon, securing eight of his nine targets against the Commanders for 145 yards. He scored from 10 yards out twice before reeling in a 61-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Tucker’s fantasy output nearly doubled the next-best receiver, all while more than doubling his combined production from the prior two contests.

As much as the Patriots struggled to protect the ball Sunday against the Steelers, Drake Maye has found his security blanket in Hunter Henry. The veteran tight end more than made up for his lackluster showing in Week 2 by catching eight of 11 targets for 90 yards. Henry also accounted for both of New England’s touchdowns – one on a routine first-down play from the 5 and the other on a gotta-have-it fourth down conversion from the 16.
