Buffalo Bills at New York Jets (1:00pm ET)
Keon Coleman was held in check during the first half on Sunday night against the Ravens, with just one reception for 17 yards. He went off throughout Buffalo’s historic comeback, though, living up to the first-round grade many had on him ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Sure, the game script of trailing late was ideal for Coleman’s final line, but he still finished with 8-112-1 on 11 targets. This should be the WR1 for the Bills in Coleman’s second year in the league, and his teammates and coaches have been raving about him entering the season. While matchup and game script probably don’t unfold with the same convenience as last week, the Jets are coming off a poor defensive performance against the Steelers.
Sauce Gardner has also been limited in practice late in the week, which could handcuff New York’s secondary even further, depending on his final status. Pittsburgh had a pair of receivers go for 70-plus yards last week, including 83 from DK Metcalf. Even though this number is up eight yards from where I played it at 36.5 last week due, I still think there’s value on Coleman here.
While another 100-yard game is a lot to ask, Coleman’s prop only creeping up to 44.5 after a monster Week 1 performance still isn’t enough of an adjustment in my mind. I expect his props to continue to rise as the season goes on. I’ll take the value while I can.
NFL Pick: Keon Coleman OVER 44.5 Receiving Yards (-110) 1-unit
