On Wednesday night, Major League Baseball has a great DFS slate of 10 matchups, which gets started at 7:07 p.m. ET. Four of the 10 games are divisional matchups, and most of the action is early, with just a couple of late contests from the West Coast. As you assemble your squad for Wednesday, let’s look at some of the strongest offenses to build around as the day’s top MLB DFS stacks.
Before we get to the individual picks, let’s define what exactly we’re looking for. An ideal target for MLB DFS stacks is a team that is in a position to score plenty of runs based on its matchup and environment. “Stacking” is the strategy of including multiple players from the same MLB lineup on your roster, so that they can boost each other’s production. Ideally, MLB DFS stacks focus on players who are back-to-back or at least from the same part of the lineup to allow positive correlation.
Most run-scoring plays produce fantasy points for multiple players, so stacking a high-scoring team can carry your entry to the top of the leaderboard. The key to MLB DFS stacks paying off is finding the perfect matchup to attack, so let’s take a look at Wednesday’s top spots.

1. Toronto Blue Jays
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. ($5,200)
George Springer ($5,000)
Daulton Varsho ($4,700)
Addison Barger ($4,300)

The Blue Jays have the second-highest implied run total on the slate, since they have a good home matchup against the Twins and Simeon Woods Richardson ($6,500). Woods Richardson will be making his first start since July 28 after he underwent a procedure to remove a parasite from his digestive tract. He has made two rehab appearances and gave up four runs in 5 1/3 innings. Before his illness, he had a 5.30 ERA, 5.79 FIP and a 1.57 WHIP in his eight road games. He let lefties hit .293 against him with a .354 wOBA, while righties had seven of the 12 homers he allowed.
The Jays have the best team batting average in the majors this season and the third-highest wOBA. They also have the third-highest wOBA at home and have hit 87 homers in their 65 home games. They scored 15 runs in the first two games of the series and will go for the series win on Wednesday.
I highlighted Springer as one of my top MLB DFS picks of the night, and he’s likely to be atop the lineup yet again, with Lukes as a good value play in the outfield right behind him, batting second. Lukes is 5-for-9 in the series with three doubles after posting 18 and 13 fantasy points the last two days.
Guerrero hasn’t hit for as much power this season, but is still hitting a solid .295 on the year and has two doubles, two homers and an average of 7.1 fantasy points per game over his last 10 contests. Varsho and Barger are a pair of left-handed hitters who will be on the strong side of the splits against Woods Richardson and bring very high ceilings. Varsho is averaging 8.7 fantasy points over his last 10 games and is a very solid play under $5,000.
2. Texas Rangers

The Rangers bring really nice value as a stacking option and have a favorable matchup at home against the slumping Angels and Jack Kochanowicz ($5,800), who has been a favorite target all season for MLB DFS stacks. Kochanowicz is 3-10 in 22 games with a 6.19 ERA and 5.68 FIP. He’s giving up a .307 batting average, 15 homers and a .386 wOBA against lefties this season. He made his last two starts in the minors, but they didn’t go much better, giving up nine runs on 12 hits in 10 innings.
Seager, Smith and Pederson are all strong options from the left side of the plate, and I highlighted Pederson in my MLB DFS targets as a good outfield option at a bargain salary. Even though he’s a righty, I included Adolis Garcia in my top home run props, since he has such a good history against Kochanowicz and has looked strong since returning from his brief stint on the injured list.
Langford has hit safely in nine of his last 11 games, going 14-for-40 (.350) with four doubles, three homers, 12 runs scored and a .481 wOBA. He has a 51.9% hard hit rate over that span, which is a bump up from his 47.3% hard hit rate on the season.
3. New York Mets

The Mets are the third team I like for MLB DFS stacks this Wednesday. They got a big win on Tuesday against the Phillies to pull within five games of the division lead. They have won nine straight against their rival Phillies at home, including last year’s playoff matchup. On Wednesday, they’ll face former Met Taijuan Walker ($6,800). Walker is 4-6 this year with a 3.44 ERA and 4.78 FIP He’s given up five runs on nine hits and five walks across 11 2/3 innings in his last two starts.
From this stack, Alonso is my favorite standalone play, which is why I included him in my MLB DFS picks of the day. He’s 5-for-18 with three homers in his career against Walker. Soto and Nimmo also have good histories against Walker. Soto has at least nine fantasy points in five straight games and is averaging 11.0 fantasy points over his last 10 contests.
Baty and McNeil have also been hot as nice, lower-cost options. Baty is hitting .357 (15-for-42) over his last 13 games with three homers and a .437 wOBA, while McNeil is hitting .304 (14-for-46) over his last 12 with three homers and a .394 wOBA.
Wednesday’s matchup between Walker and Nolan McLean ($9,000) should be a great matchup loaded with intensity, and I think the Mets will bring the thunder with their bats.
